Hu: Hűvös őszi reggel volt Budapest szívében, amikor a nap első sugarai áttörtek a szürke felhőkön.
En: It was a cool autumn morning in the heart of Budapest when the first rays of the sun broke through the gray clouds.

Hu: A Duna partján sétálva, egy világoszöld lombos fa alatt, ott ült Mária, bámulva a szembejövő víz csillogó hullámait.
En: Sitting under a light green leafy tree by the Danube, Maria stared at the glistening waves of the approaching water.

Hu: Az első levelek már hullani kezdtek, beszínezve az utat, és halkan pattogtak a sétálók cipői alatt.
En: The first leaves had already started to fall, painting the path and gently crunching under the shoes of passersby.

Hu: Miközben a város lassan ébredt, egy fiatal férfi figyelemre méltó lelkesedéssel sietett a Duna parttól nem messze lévő nagyobbik , csempével borított úton, kezében egy égő papírzacskóval.
En: As the city slowly woke up, a young man rushed with remarkable enthusiasm along the larger, paved road not far from the Danube, holding a burning paper bag in his hand.

Hu: Az emberek bólogattak neki, ismerték őt, Ádámnak hívták.
En: People nodded to him, they knew him, his name was Adam.

Hu: Ádám mindig is megpróbált lenyűgözni Máriát, a szépséges lányt, aki mindig a Duna partján üldögélt, édes reggelijét szürcsölve.
