The Peoples Weekly February 1st, 2019 Talking about current events and news of the week.
1) Sarah Huckabee Sanders went on the Christian Broadcasting Network and said that "God wanted Donald Trump to become president." This is dangerous and we're going to talk about why.

2) In another story, semi related to our first topic, there are many bills trying to be pushed through to teach "Bible literacy" (Christian indoctrination) to kids in U.S. schools.

3) In California alone, hate crimes are on the rise, they're up over 13% since 2016... just this week an Armenian school had Turkish Flags hung around it, and a Jewish school had anti-semitic graffiti painted on it. Why are these racist/bigots becoming so bold, and what can be done to stop it?

4) These two crazy cults of Democrats and Republicans are once again trying to peddle their fascist corporate candidates to the citizens of the U.S... What would it take for a new party to rise up not influenced by corporate money but in favor of the peoples needs? Would this even be possible?
