Story Transcript:

Ro: În inima orașului București, unde străzile sunt pline de oameni și cafelele miroase a dimineața nouă, Alexandru avea să trăiască o aventură neașteptată.
En: In the heart of the city of Bucharest, where the streets are full of people and the smell of coffee fills the air on a fresh morning, Alexandru was about to experience an unexpected adventure.

Ro: Era o zi obișnuită pentru Alexandru, care, alături de prietenii săi Mihai și Andrei, decide să ia prânzul în centrul vechi.
En: It was a typical day for Alexandru, who, along with his friends Mihai and Andrei, decided to have lunch in the old town center.

Ro: După o masă copioasă la restaurantul lor preferat, Alexandru simți nevoia să viziteze baia. În graba sa, nu observă că nici măcar un colț de hârtie igienică nu zăcea pe rolă.
En: After a hearty meal at their favorite restaurant, Alexandru felt the need to visit the restroom. In his haste, he didn't notice that there wasn't even a corner of toilet paper on the roll.

Ro: După ce se așează confortabil, constată cu groază că hârtia igienică lipsește cu desăvârșire. Începe să caute febril prin compartiment dar, nimic.
En: After settling comfortably, he realized with horror that the toilet paper was completely missing. He began to frantically search through the compartments, but found nothing.

Ro: Panicat, trage de ușă să iasă în căutare de ajutor, dar, spre nenorocirea sa, broasca se defectează, și ușa refuză să se deschidă.
En: Panicked, he tried to open the door to seek help, but to his misfortune, the latch malfunctioned, and the door refused to open.

Ro: Alexandru, închis în baie, își dă seama că telefonul lui este pe masă, în compania prietenilor săi, uitat acolo în timpul prânzului.
En: Locked in the restroom, Alexandru realized that his phone was on the table, in the company of his friends, forgotten there during lunch.

Ro: Timpul trece, iar Alexandru începe să bată ușor, apoi din ce în ce mai tare, în ușă și să strige după ajutor.
En: Time passed, and Alexandru began to lightly knock on the door, then louder and louder, and to call for help.

Ro: Mihai, auzind un zgomot ciudat, își frânge urechile și îi spune lui Andrei că parcă vine din direcția băii.
En: Hearing a strange noise, Mihai furrowed his brow and told Andrei that it seemed to be coming from the direction of the bathroom.

Ro: Curioși, cei doi prieteni se apropie și descoperă originea zgomotelor alarmate. Ei aud strigătele lui Alexandru și încearcă să deschidă ușa, fără succes.
En: Curious, the two friends approached and discovered the source of the alarmed noises. They heard Alexandru's cries and tried to open the door, to no avail.

Ro: Andrei, mai inventiv, se duce la managerul restaurantului și explică situația. Managerul vine cu un set de unelte. După câteva minute de încercări, zăvorul cedează și Alexandru este eliberat, spre marele lui ușurare.
En: Andrei, more resourceful, went to the restaurant manager and explained the situation. The manager arrived with a set of tools. After a few minutes of attempts, the latch gave way, and Alexandru was freed, much to his relief.

Ro: Prietenii săi nu își pot stăpâni râsul când Alexandru le povestește despre hârtia igienică lipsă și peripeția sa cu ușa defectă.
En: His friends couldn't contain their laughter when Alexandru told them about the missing toilet paper and his ordeal with the faulty door.

Ro: Cu toate acestea, Mihai se duce rapid la magazinul de alături și cumpără un pachet de hârtie igienică, oferind-o restaurantului pentru a evita astfel de incidente pe viitor.
En: Nevertheless, Mihai quickly went to the nearby store, bought a pack of toilet paper, and offered it to the restaurant to avoid such incidents in the future.

Ro: Povestea lui Alexandru, ajuns acum în siguranță alături de prietenii săi, devine subiectul glumelor pe seara aceea.
