If you surf Rockaway regularly, you could easily recognize our guest from a few jetties away. He’s tall, lean, usually wearing a surf hat in the lineup. He’s usually riding a larger board and is almost always on the best set of the day. He’s always got a carefree smile and a disarming demeanor. Everyone seems to know him and you can find him out most summer days giving surf lessons with Frank at New York Surf School down on 69th Street.
