This week, Retired Major General Jim Hoyer is joined by Brandon Downey, President, and CEO of Trilogy Innovations. Brandon holds over 25 years of experience in the tech industry in West Virginia and beyond. He shares his journey rising up as a kid from Charlestown to becoming the CEO and co-founder of one of the biggest tech companies in the state. General Hoyer and Brandon also discuss the future of technology here in the Mountain State and the importance of promoting and supporting West Virginia-based businesses doing great things to keep competition, revenue, and jobs thriving here in our communities.

The Department of Agriculture’s Rooted in the Mountain State segment shares the story of Gritts Farms a staple in the agriculture area. Their products are found in grocery stores and farmers markets across the region.    

Last Monday at Point Pleasant High School there was a Game Changer’s event where community members, educators and student came together to network and educate the public on available resources.  They also had a motivational and life lesson speaker Frederick Shegog share his path to sobriety and provide insight.
