This is our radio show for the week of 10/5/24. We go on the road to Marshall's Marine to help promote the storm relief efforts that they are partnered in with the NWTF Georgetown/Five Rivers. We are joined by some great guests that enlighten us on so many things pertaining to the relief efforts in the upstate and in Western North Carolina. We are joined by a phenominal young pilot, Carter Sheridan to disuss his 37 hours of flights to NC this week. With the media reporting the only things they want you to hear, he helps to clarify a bunch of the rumors and shares what he has seen this wek from the air and on the ground. We are also joined by Capt Fred Rourk of Sweet Tea Charters and his friend Allen Burchell. Allen has been very active in the Linville area with a group collecting and dispersing donations that are coming in there. As a resident of the outskirts of Boone, N.C, he really shares some of the things that we can't get from any media outlet. Capt. Fred, Carter, and Adrianna Lawrence have been active this week in trips to NC to deliver help and we hear from all 3. This is not going away anytime soon and it is important that we keep sending help to the great people of WNC. Enjoy
