Uk: Був теплий літній вечір.
En: It was a warm summer evening.

Uk: На Площі Ринок у Львові зібралося багато людей.
En: In Rynok Square in Lviv, many people had gathered.

Uk: Світло ліхтарів яскраво блищало на камені під ногами.
En: The lantern light was brightly shining on the cobblestones underfoot.

Uk: Повітря було наповнене запахом квітів і свіжої трави.
En: The air was filled with the scent of flowers and fresh grass.

Uk: Оксана, Андрій та Катерина йшли вузенькими вуличками до центру міста.
En: Oksana, Andriy, and Kateryna were walking through the narrow streets towards the city center.

Uk: Сьогодні було свято Івана Купала. Свято вогнів, квітів та води.
En: Today was the holiday of Ivan Kupala, a celebration of fire, flowers, and water.

Uk: Катерина тримала вінок з ромашок.
