Patricia Cuffie-Jones, an Emmy-Nominated writer and director, is a respected storyteller and creative voice with 20+ years of experience developing screenplays, sitcoms, and dramas that have appeared on Netflix, Amazon, BET, TUBI, TV One, Bounce TV, and ALLBlk.

Highlighted in Variety Magazine as one of the powerhouses of Black excellence in this industry, Patricia has proven to be a force and one to watch! From thrillers to period pieces, Patricia has been praised by critics for writing stories that are fresh yet moving, with complex characters that are authentic and relatable. She's known as a director who brings clear vision, elevated production value, and unique rapport with actors of all levels helping them to delve deeper into the complexities and layers of story and characters.

In addition to her Emmy nomination for writing her series "Stuck With You," this Baltimore native has flexed her roots in theater through her highly acclaimed period piece “Love Soul Deep" which was nominated five times for the Los Angeles NAACP Theatre Award. Patricia enjoys partnering with production companies and networks that are looking to elevate and diversify storytelling. She seeks out writing and directing opportunities that can expand her stories of love, suspense, family, romance, faith, and resilience.

Patricia just wrapped up her first international film and has written and directed a reimagining of the 1985 Richard Pryor classic Brewster’s Millions: Christmas, both which will be released on BET during the holiday season of 2024 (December 5th)
