Hillary Clinton mocked Bush for his “right to rise” s logan. She didn’t mention him by name, but repeatedly suggested that his positions and record make it a hollow slogan. “I don’t think you can credibly say everyone has a right to rise” if they can’t afford health care, if the minimum wage is too low to live on, if college is unaffordable – and, she emphasized – if someone embraces policies that deny the right to vote.
