We Recharge Our Drained Batteries This New Year
Our nation's batteries are drained. Individually we are drained. We feel bitter, tired, taken, bewildered, and voiceless. They have done everything to us, and these last few years have been filled with nothing but trials. Most of us have had so many personal trials we are about to explode. But more than that, our nation's trials have been more abundant than we could have ever imagined. We have been taken by a secret society of robbers. Our nation is governed by thieves. We are at the brink of war. And our economy is destined for peril. As we reflect on the past, we put away the feeling of being duped and move on. We admit our shortcomings, of having been taken so easily, suppressed, told to wear a mask, and inject a deadly poison. We forgive ourselves for being spineless cowards. Because in a way it wasn't all our fault. We were supposed to believe in America the beautiful. We were supposed to believe in our nation's leaders and doctors. We were supposed to believe in US. So how do we move on? How do we recharge our drained batteries? We admit that we've been duped. We stand with new resolve to never again be tricked in such a way. And we stand strong.
