It: Era una calda giornata d'estate quando Giovanni e Sofia invitarono il loro amico Marco a cena.
En: It was a hot summer day when Giovanni and Sofia invited their friend Marco to dinner.

It: Marco era uno straniero appena arrivato in città e volevano dargli il benvenuto con una tipica cena italiana.
En: Marco was a foreigner who had just arrived in the city and they wanted to welcome him with a typical Italian dinner.

It: Giovanni, un esperto nel preparare spaghettii, pensò che sarebbe stato divertente mostrare a Marco come mangiare gli spaghetti senza l'uso della forchetta o del cucchiaio.
En: Giovanni, an expert in making spaghettii, thought it would be fun to show Marco how to eat spaghetti without using a fork or spoon.

It: Sofia, incuriosita dall'idea, si unì subito al piano.
