WENDY DAVIS IS RUNNING FOR TEXAS GOVERNOR:  Wendy Russell Davis is an American lawyer and Democratic politician from Fort Worth, Texas. Davis represents District 10 in the Texas Senate. She previously served on the Fort Worth city council.

Today Wendy Davis’ race for Governor in Texas is one of the most exciting campaigns in the country.Her opponent, Greg Abbott, is truly Rick Perry 2.0. He’s got tens of millions of dollars in his war chest. And since Texas has no campaign finance limits, the special interests are pouring money into nasty, disgusting attacks against her.

On Nov. 4, Texans will elect a new governor for the first time in 14 years. We think that new governor should be Democrat Wendy Davis. Davis and her Republican opponent, long-serving Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott, offer voters sharp, competing visions for the state’s future.
