If asked to name my "happy place," the first thought wouldn't be an exotic island or spa or something equally as relaxing. It would be Trader Joe's. Yes, you read that right. It is the most easily accessible slice of heaven I can retreat to when needed.  My TJ obsession caused me to ask, "what makes this place so special?" Like, how has it developed such a cult following without a ton of marketing and no online sales. I did a deep dive into the psychology of the store's success, and I immediately thought of the parallels to entrepreneurship. Small business owners can certainly learn from the simplistic tactics used by this uber-successful, yet small grocery retailer.  Let's get into it!
