Lots going on in the Middle East, Iran, Iraq, and North Korea’s Rocketman heating up.
Major General Paul E. Vallely (U.S. Army ret.) to discuss the happenings in the Middle East.
Soleimani has been around for years. He was the 2nd most powerful guy in the government and the one who directed ALL of the terrorist activity. He’s been blowing up our troops for years. He was a bad guy and has been a target for years.
General Vallely explains how military decisions are made at the Presidential level, like the decision to take our Soleimani.
U.S. intelligence obtained information that Soleimani was funding Shiite militias near Baghdad to attack the U.S. Embassy and that Soleimani was going to be nearby to escalate. Based on that intel, Pres. Trump made the decision to take out the target and prevent another Tehran or Benghazi.
Both the U.S. and Israel are watching what is happening with convoys moving in and out of both Iran and Iraq right now. We’re all on high alert.
Trump DOES NOT shoot from the hip. He’s getting good intel and making informed, thoughtful, and strategic decisions about what is happening out there.
There are alot of Obama holdovers in the military who want to keep us in the Middle East forever. But most of what’s happening in the Middle East has no impact on the U.S. so why do we need to be there? Most military commanders don’t want to remain there. And Trump is overriding those who want to remain there.
