The Amway River Bank Run is America’s largest 25K and also site of the USATF 25 km Open Championships. Once again WOOD Radio provided exclusive live start to finish coverage of the race on May 11, 2019, with hosts Steve Kelly and Bret Bakita, plus broadcast team members Lauren Smith, Jim Costa, Bryan Fongers, Rick Berkey, Denny Scully, and Doug Jager. Runner Parker Stinson, 27, of Boulder, Colorado, finished the 25K race with a time of 1:13:47.120. Emma Bates, 26, of Boise, Idaho, finished the race with a chip time of 1:23:49.500…both American records!
