Richard Kaczynski is an author and a lecturer in the fields of social psychology and magic, and a magical practitioner specializing in Thelema and related magical paths. He is also a talented keyboard player, a founding member of the band House of Usher, and has appeared on four CDs on the Mellow Records label. Kaczynski is an Adjunct Instructor of Orthodontics at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. He holds Bachelor of Science, Masters degrees, and a PhD in Social Psychology from Wayne State University. He is currently a research project director and statistician at Yale University's Department of Psychiatry. Kaczynski has been a student of Thelema since 1977 e.v., a member of Ordo Templi Orientis since 1987, and a lecturer on magick since 1990. Within the O.T.O., he is past Master of Blue Equinox Oasis in Detroit, a Bishop of Ecclesia Gnostica Catholica, and a Certified Initiator Trainer[. As a member of U.S. Grand Lodge's Education Committee, he is chair of its Qabalah subcommittee. and he was interviewed for the PBS documentary, Secrets of the Occult. Kaczynski's medical and psychological writing has appeared in several publications in those fields, especially in the American Journal of Orthodontics. He is the author of a biography of Aleister Crowley entitled Perdurabo: The Life of Aleister Crowley. His occult writing has appeared in various magazines including High Times, The Magical Link, Neshamah, Cheth, Mezlim, Eidolon, and Different Worlds, and in such books as The Golden Dawn Sourcebook, Rebels and Devils, and People of the Earth. - www.richard-kaczynski.com
