#SummerSimon - At just 14 years old Summer Simon is already a two-time Open Women’s champion at the Australian Indigenous surfing titles 2015 and 2016. Summer, who lives in Port Kembla in New South Wales, won her second consecutive title at the event at Bells beach, which ran from May 20 to 22 this year. Summer has been surfing since she was 7 years old and is now a student at the Illawarra Sports High School, where she gets extra support and training through her school. Besides her recent title, Summer also won the Wandiyali Indigenous titles Championship in 2015 and placed 3rd in 2016 and she is the 2015 Juraki Surf Titles Champion – all by the age of 14!
