  • Gathering Together

5 DEC 2023 · Hello, welcome to three truths. The Bible says in Hebrews 10:25, "not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another and all the more as you see the Day approaching." Three truths about the importance of gathering together in this passage: 1. Truth number one: Gathering is a command for the believer, in the same way that we have been saved by the grace of the Lord. Now we are moved by that same grace to gather with other saved people. 2. Truth number two: Gathering is important because it is the way we encourage each other, but also correct each other. Individualism often blinds us to our own mistakes. 3. Truth number three: Because the Day of the Lord's coming is getting closer, we are more likely to endure it to the end if we are accompanied by others. So may the Lord help us.

  • Diligent work

30 NOV 2023 · Hello, welcome to three truths. The Bible says in Ephesians 4:28: "He who steals should not steal anymore but rather work doing what is good with his hands so that he may have to share with the one who is in need." Three biblical truths about diligent work in this passage, Truth Number One: Work is difficult because of the fall. But the Lord commands us to do it because that is good. It is his will, Truth number two: Lack of diligence at work leads to sins such as laziness and theft. A person who, being able to work, does not do so, but instead consumes other people's resources, is participating in a form of theft. Truth Number Three: We work not only for ourselves or for our needs, but to have something to share with those who do not have or who suffer from some need. May the Lord help us.

  • Christian contentment

25 NOV 2023 · Hello, welcome to three truths. The Bible says in Philippians 4:12-13: "I know how to live humbly and I know how to have abundance in everything and I am taught in everything, both to be satisfied and to be hungry. Both to have abundance and to be in need I can do all things through Christ who it makes me stronger". Three biblical truths about Christian contentment in this passage: 1.Truth number one: No one is born capable of having contentment, that is, something we learn from abundance or scarcity. 2.Truth number two: We are not defined by our material possessions, we are not more loved or approved by God when we have abundance, nor does having scarcity mean that God is not approving us, He is simply sovereign. 3.Truth number three: The key to contentment is to rest precisely in the fact that no matter what my condition is in terms of the things I possess or do not possess, everything I am is defined by what Christ did on the cross of Calvary. God help us.

  • The Shepherds

18 NOV 2023 · These are three truths. The Bible says in 1 Peter 5:2-4. "Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve; not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away." Three biblical truths about the shepherd in this passage: 1. Truth number one: God has established in his providence ordinary men to whom he has entrusted the privilege of caring for and feeding his flock those of his children whom he has saved by his grace. 2. Truth number two: No pastor should serve with wrong motivations. Among what God demands is that pastors not serve as exercising lordship or taking advantage of the flock. God does not expect or approve of pastors who pastor solely for financial gain. That is an abomination to the Lord. 3. Truth number three. God will one day reward the shepherds. Although being a shepherd is his privilege, it is also a great responsibility, because he will not only bring reward, but judgment against those who did not act righteously.
