17 JUN 2024 · On this, the season finale of Beyond The 12, we celebrate the journey we have been on for the last 12 weeks.  Never underestimate your accomplishments.  It can be helpful to reward your small steps of faith, so join me as we head out for a scoop of our favorite ice cream.  After we clean up the confetti, we take a closer look at the tips from last week, adding some details to each one.  This will hopefully assist you during the break between seasons in forming faith habits that we can add to in season 2.  And don't forget, be on the look out for bonus episodes in July and August when I will share some exciting opportunities.  As always, thank you for being a part of the Beyond The 12 community.  

9 JUN 2024 · On episode 11, we discuss 4 popular words in Biblical Studies.  Words like these can be intimidating but I will try to simplify them so they feel more approachable.  My hope is that the next time you hear one of these 4 words you won't feel like the teaching is over your head and immediately leave the room.  We will also discuss 5 simple activities you can engage in this week to start or continue your path toward becoming a stronger disciple of Christ.  This list is not all inclusive but I want to make our journey less overwhelming with manageable action items.  This is your week to try a few new things in an intentional manner.  Thank you for listening.  I'm praying for you. 

3 JUN 2024 · During this episode of Beyond The 12, we will discuss resources available to us to help grow our faith in Jesus and grow our courage in becoming a disciple of His.  I will share a few resources that I used as I began to grow my knowledge base of the Bible.  We will also discuss a handful of Biblical characters that displayed a high level of faith in Jesus as they encountered Him on Earth.  I hope this episode helps you to put fuel behind your desire to grow closer to God and to represent Jesus well as you share His story with those in your sphere of influence.  As always, thank you for tuning in.  May you find God's blessings this week. 

26 MAY 2024 · Episode 9 has us diving deep into Matthew 25:14-30, well known as the Parable of the Talents.  This is a parable told by Jesus to help the people of His time understand the Kingdom of Heaven and what would be expected of the followers of the New Way.  We will discuss the details of the events of this parable and what it means for us today.  I will relate these verses to my own life by sharing a private moment I had with God and how He explained the importance of this parable.  Finally, we close with a couple of song lyrics that I hope will encourage and motivate you as you seek God's very best for your life.  Thank you for tuning in again today.  Have a blessed week.

20 MAY 2024 · On this episode, we are once again discussing a new aspect in the relationship series. This week I'm meeting with one of my best friends, Terri Freeman, to talk about friendships.  Join us as we outline positive Godly traits that define a good friend.  We will dig into the Word of God for examples of frienships that have been modeled for us both good and bad.  As always, I'm grateful that you would tune in.  I hope you find this episode helpful as you seek Godly friends in your life as you walk out your faith.

29 APR 2024 · On this episode, we will continue the new series on relationships.  We discussed last week how important our relationship with God is.  And this week we will discuss how we can build a marriage relationship on the foundation of our connection with God.  The Word of God is full of verses giving us clear direction on what a Godly marriage should look like and how we can determine to live out the Word within our marriages.  We can successfully disciple one another as we meet the sometimes challenging demands of marriage.  Marriage can be exciting, peaceful, fruitful and God honoring, so thank you for joining us on the journey of discovery into marital bliss.  May you be blessed in all you do this week.

21 APR 2024 · On this episode, we will begin a new series on relationships.  We know how important relationship is to God by simply reading His word.  I believe the dominant relationship in the life of every believer should be the one they have with God.  All other relationships will be effected by how we relate to God.  We can see in the bible that God introduces Himself to us, outlines how our relationship with Him should look, and givse us lots of advice for successful relationships with all others in our sphere of influence.  We have a guidebook at our fingertips.  Thank you for tuning in and may you find blessings this week in your quiet time with God. 

14 APR 2024 · On this episode, we will finish meeting the 12 disciples of Christ.  Last week we were introduced to the first 6, and this week we will meet the final 6.  These two episodes will finalize the foundation of Beyond The 12.  We are now standing on the backs of some of the strongest heros of the bible and the cornerstone is Jesus himself.   I'm excited to share more content from my time with God and to encourage you as you seek more of God in your life.  Thank you for spending time with me again.  May your week ahead be a blessing to you and those around you.
