2 AUG 2023 · We pick back up with our conference previews and turn our attention to the Big Ten, soon to be the Big 16, or more if you believe all the rumors. But what we know in 2023 is that it is a 14-team league and that Michigan is coming in with back-to-back league crowns with Ohio State and Penn State both looking to end that streak. With so many new head coaches in place in the league and a smattering of controversy, what can we expect out of the B1G?

1 JUL 2023 · The ranks of the Big 12, American and Conference USA all have seen the numbers grow here on July 1st as 14 teams are on the move as part of conference realignment. The bigger numbers of the Big 12 will be temporary with Texas and Oklahoma on the move to start the 2024 season but the league did not wait to add four teams with the announced departures looming. The AAC didn't wait long either, adding six to its ranks, going to C-USA to fill its vacancies. And with the domino effect, that means that C-USA had to look to replace much of what it was losing. We talk a little bit about the moves in this edition of the College Football Playbook podcast.

27 APR 2023 · Few people would disagree that Alabama, Georgia and Ohio State are going to be three of the top-five teams in the nation this upcoming season. Many people would say they would be the top-three teams and just argue on the order of each of them. Something that cannot be argued is the fact that all three of these teams are thin on quarterback experience as Bryce Young, Stetson Bennett and CJ Stroud are all moving on and names like Jalen Milroe, Carson Beck and Kyle McCord are being talked about but none of those three have locked down their position battles and one program could still be looking to the portal for reinforcements. It is not rare that the top of football is this unsettled at quarterback, and we felt it was a great time to sit down with people who cover these teams to get the latest as spring ball is done for most and the long wait to the fall is underway. Join us along with Tony Tsoukalas of TideIllustrated.com, Jed May of UGASports.com and Tony Gerdeman of BuckeyeHuddle.com as we talk quarterbacks.
