13 OCT 2015 · I have a dream...Celebrating Our Jubilee! Our forefathers and mothers planted trees from which we gather fruit, and dug wells from which we quench our thirst. Civil Rights Activist marched for us, died for us and pleaded for our equality. So what are we leaving behind for our communities today? What are we fostering in the minds of our Black children? How will we strengthen our families and our communities? How are we Leading Change? Just over fifty years ago, Dr. King's "I Have a Dream..." Speech debuted in Detroit and transformed a nation. Today, we are uniting to become a beacon of light and love to usher in greater transformation within our capacity to love that will impact this city. As Detroit goes, so does the nation. Grass roots organizations, churches and community business groups are raising the bar on what's possible so we evolve in our beliefs, values and purpose for the elevation of our consciousness to enlarge what's possible for us as spirits in human form. We are encouraging each one to search their hearts and find their destiny so they can powerfully play a role in Detroit's Re-birth that causes the world to know that Love is the Power that uplifts us all and brings balance. Today, we will hear from Deborah Shumake, who was given the vision for Sunday, Oct 11th Prayer Rally in Detroit, MI that occured this past Sunday to celebrate ourselves and our collective power: the Power of Collective Collaboration.  We invited women from the Detroit Metropolitan area to join us as we declared changes for better schools, safer streets, equal pay, clean air, and the many causes that we all represent. She will share with us why the goal of having 10,000 women answering the call to support our causes to create change is so critical today. Join us today! We are powerful, and together we rise!
