Creator to Creator podcast is where I sit down with other creatives like photographer, filmmakers, designers, DJ's, Rappers, poets, etc. and talk about their journey and experiences. How it led to them following their passion, the challenges they faced, what motivates them to create, and many other such topics.
I learnt in my own experience having these conversations in the past has helped me grow as an artist myself so I decided to record them and release in the form of podcast so others in the creative industry can benefit from them as well as for the people who want to follow their passions but don't know where to start or how to make the jump from their current situation to working on their passion full time.

27 MAR 2021 · Mustafa, or best known as Freek, is born and raised in the UAE, originally from Somalia. He’s a rapper, filmmaker, podcast host, does modelling for Dolce & Gabbana; Gucci he’s a man on the mission.
Truly an inspirational person to be around, his newest track called KAFI, which gives a message for everyone to have tough conversations like domestic violence and how it is an epidemic and yet we don’t address it until it happens to celebrities.
We speak about his inspiration for making the music video which I would say is like a short film, how he uses his obsessive personality for productive means, having performed at shows & festivals like SOLEdxb, Formula 1 Abu Dhabi after race concert his perspective on how important it is for an artist to have stage presence, how surrounding himself with a great team helps and also what to expect in the near future from Freek.

13 MAR 2021 · Travis J. Sewchan, a Toronto native with a deep passion for music that has expanded into every form. He’s developed his sound while working with artists with Drake, Keisha Chante, Majid Jordan, Partynextdoor, dvsn & many others. He then went on to be the live audio engineer & opening DJ for 3 World Tours.
In our conversation, we talk about his journey from making mixtapes in high school to how he got the chance to work with arguably the biggest artist of our generation.
We also get into what’s coming in the future with his DJ partner Behruz Mistry; the duo together launched mixed feelings where they perform as Dj’s as well as focus on production and songwriting.

28 AUG 2020 · Behruz is a DJ, Producer, an Athlete and overall just a creative force. He has been active in various sports from childhood like Basketball, Football, Cricket, etc. But his real passion is for music.
We talk about how training and exercising can help creatives increase their productivity and how to use competition among friends to grow together.
He is also one-half of the inmymixedfeelings with Travis who is like a brother to him, we spoke a little bit about how that relationship came to be.
21 AUG 2020 · Leen is the Designer and Founder of a street fashion brand ( www.soundonstreetwear ), soon after starting the brand she had an urge to be more responsible and try to source more ethical materials for production. The process wasn't as easy or straight forward as you would expect. Living in Dubai, there was no one concentrating on this niche.
She recently did a campaign with Nike Middle East to promote upcycling, where she was commissioned to make face masks from their deadstock of jerseys.
I talk with Leen about her journey, how she started on this path which led to making this change in her life and also about how our friends and community we surround ourselves with are a massive part of how we make creative decisions.
