Coesistenze

Le parole. Che scandiscono il tempo ora dopo ora, suggeriscono associazioni, contraddizioni, intuizioni. Dopo comunità, coesistenze. Una questione plurale, come lo sono i soggetti, ontologica prima e oltre ogni rappresentazione funzionale. Una questione vitale, che tocca l’esistenza profonda, l’essere con le sue domande radicali. Una questione progettuale, alla ricerca della forma che contiene il valore, del significato che concepisce lo spazio, della necessità che considera la fruizione. Infine una questione sociale sul senso dello stare insieme nello spazio pubblico, sul confine tra individuo e collettività. Come comunità, coesistenze è una parola interconnessa che assume identità nella relazione. Di questo si occupa nella tappa di Marzocca Housing the Human.

Il gesto. Che accoglie riconosce e rinomina i segni e le coesistenze dentro la città adriatica, la percorre, la attraversa e la connette con l’Oriente d’Europa e i Balcani. Da quel paesaggio adriatico estremo, un limes poetico irriducibile, stretto tra pressioni diverse, tra la natura inesorabile e le infrastrutture necessarie, l’installazione sonora di Sislej Xhafa è un dispositivo che dissimula paesaggio e un orizzonte che non c’era.

La terra. Che è quella promessa, l’idea che sta un attimo prima di ogni azione pensata e praticata, che sia oltre un mare o dentro un grattacielo; quella in movimento che ha squassato le montagne e con i sassi i luoghi, le coscienze, le esperienze ma è in cammino verso un futuro che c’è sempre stato, come in cammino fu quell’alchimista visionario, occhi di fuoco e capelli di vento che 150 anni fa scelse da un nowhere impossibile la cura, natura talento e intelligenza per guarire i mali del corpo e onorare i piaceri dello spirito; quella bianchissima, conclusa ma infinita - 10x10 – che accoglie Unnamed.

Il Demanio. Che ha scelto di riconoscere l’unicità irripetibile di una particella, di nominare ciò che era senza nome, di aumentare un tempo piccolo e uno spazio chiuso in un cloud infinito, e così ha sperimentato in vitro le coesistenze come vocazione e necessità. Lasciando che quel perimetro – fisso ma permeabile – nel quale ritrovarsi ogni anno il terzo venerdì di luglio, 6pm/6am, si mantenga nodo e hub, infrastruttura utile, common ground tra gli archetipi della storia e le vibrazioni della modernità.

Words mark time, hour after hour, suggesting associations, contradictions, and intuitions. After communities, now coexistence. It is a multiple matter, just like individuals, and an ontological matter before and beyond all functional representations. It is a vital matter that touches the profound existence and being with its radical questions. It is a project matter, searching for a shape that contains the value, the meaning that conceives space, the need that considers enjoyment. Finally, it is a social matter on the meaning of staying together in public spaces, on the border between individuals and communities. Just like community, coexistence is an interconnected word that takes on an identity in relations. This is the topic of Housing the Human in Marzocca.

Gestures receive, recognize and rename the signs and coexistence in the Adriatic city, which is travelled and connected with Eastern Europe and the Balkans. From the extreme Adriatic landscape, an irreducible poetic limes compressed between different pressures, between the inexorable nature and the necessary infrastructures, the sound installation by Sislej Xhafa is a device that dissimulates the landscape and a horizon that did not exist before.

Land is the Promised Land, the idea one second before the action, across the sea or in a skyscraper. It is the sliding Land that violently shook the mountains, and together with the rocks, the places, the conscience, and the experience. It is the Land strolling towards a future that has always been here, just like the foreseeing alchemist with eyes of fire and hair in the wind who 150 years ago found the treatment in an impossible nowhere, blending nature, talent and intelligence to heal the harms of the body and honour the pleasure of the spirit. It is the purely white, finished but endless, 10x10 piece of land that hosts Unnamed.

Demanio decided to recognise the unrepeatable uniqueness of a particle, to name the unnamed, to increase a small time and a closed space in an infinite cloud, thus experimenting coexistence in vitro as vocation and necessity. The fixed, yet permeable perimeter where we meet every year, on the third Friday of July, from 6pm to 6am, is a node and a hub, a useful infrastructure and a common ground between the archetypes of history and the vibrations of modernity.
