Surviving the Unvarnished Truth of Reality is the personal creative project of Devine Soldier. This blog was made in Western Australia; Devine Soldier was born in Perth 1991. Her Father was a truck driver, her mother was a psychic, her brother was sheltered and Devine Soldier was the Black sheep. Devine Soldier lived a life always fighting for her right. Gifted in painting, drawing and writing most of all Devine Soldier feels most at home with Free Verse Poetry. Known for smiling, her unique laugh and always bringing the room to life creative writing was her only escape to free the fire living inside.

Surviving the Unvarnished Truth of Reality is for those who seek to learn more about what truthfully is happening right under their nose. I evoke timeless Free Verse Poetry stories and ideas a variety of subjects from childhood trauma, sexual abuse, family abuse, dark minded, revenge, love, witchcraft, Spirituality, corruption, politics, law breaking, friends and so much more different experiences written creatively.

Seventeen years ago Devine Soldier dedicated her life going undercover with people around Western Australia for a book that is in working progress due to the very particular way it has to be written because of the raw content and the fear of safety if it is not done cleverly perfect. This was a life goal to write a book about being on the other side of life that individuals go to great lengths to hide. Do you sit there watching Underbelly or Movies and think yeah right that wouldn’t happen? Or do you think that it only happens in other countries and not in your own friendly community? Well think again.

So why choose a misspelt public name? Devine is a frequent misspelling of divine. I may have spiritual gifts and divine intuition but I am no different to anyone else we all make mistakes and those who do make a mistake, why should they have to miss out or have a harder time reaching what other readers are reading? We can all be divine if we open up to the light and erase our fear. Soldier represents how I personally feel after still being alive and able to write after living a life having to hide, wanted dead three times, mauled by a dingo slash kelpie the guard dog up in the mines couldn’t walk for a long time to still dedicating more of my life living undercover it definitely got harder.

What does the Blog name mean? In my own words Surviving the Unvarnished Truth of Reality means to be able to make it through a system that is commonly hidden from most of society, to be free at the age of thirty and still have it in me to dream after the trauma my community and family insisted on me. I lived on the dark side so I can be the light in people’s eyes for the future fight.
