The Future of Nursteed Road
5 JUL 2024 · As Devizes Town prepare to kick off their 2024/25 pre-season campaign, we catch up with Co-Chair, Tom Perkins and Commercial Manager, Tony Greenidge, to hear more about what's been going on at the Club off the pitch. Last month the Club announced that they had purchased their Nursteed Road ground and Tony and Tom talk about how that historic agreement came about and what it means for football in Devizes.
Close But Yet So Far
5 MAY 2024 · On the final episode of the 2023/24 season, First Team manager, Chris Allen, looks back on his first season as a manager, reflecting on the highs and lows of a campaign that took the Town into the Play Offs, only to fall at the semi-final stage. Despite some inconsist perfromances there have been many positives to take from a season that has shown that team can beat anyone on their day. Chris discusses his ambitions for next season, with a focus on improving his players skill levels, as well as the teams standing in the League Tables.

27 JAN 2024 · On the latest episode of Devizes Town Radio, First Team manager, Chris Allen, previews the Town's trip to FC Stratford, reflecting on the pivotal role the win against the Bards played in the sides recent good run of form. Chris and Ian Nockolds also reflect on the importance of turning Nursteed Road into a fortress, if the sides play off ambitions are to be realised this season.

9 DEC 2023 · First team manager, Chris Allan, talks to Ian Nockolds about his sides good run of form that has seen the Town enter the First Division Play Off race. Chris reflects on the changes that have been made to introduce more professionalism and desire into the team, as well as introducing some of the new player acquisitions that he hopes will help Devizes maintain their current good form. However, fans were urged not to get carried away, as the Clubs progress might be ahead of schedule both on and off the pitch, Devizes Town Football Club still have a long way to go.

From a tale of two Newent Town’s to improving the sides discipline and consistency, Chris discusses his fledgling steps as a manager. Chris is confident that if we turn up, Devizes Town can give anyone in the League a game, which is good to know, as we face league leaders Malmesbury Victoria at Nursteed Road on September 27th.
A New Beginning
4 AUG 2023 · New Manager, Chris Allen, talks to Ian Nockolds about the Clubs prospects for the new season, following a very positive pre-season. Chris is targeting a top 10 finish and with the end of season play offs, anything is possible for the Town. Chris also introduces some of the new members of the first team squad, as well as discussing his footballing philosophy and reflecting on the tremendous work that's gone on at the Club, led by new Co-Chairman Tom Perkins and Dan Sloan.
