We are very excited to bring our annual Devoted training sessions to you in podcast format. Our Devoted training is one of the places where we work toward our goal of creating faith spaces where LGBTQIA+ individuals feel safe, feel a sense of belonging, and can flourish, both in the church and otherwise.
This podcast is going to be a series of 10 episodes. Each episode is a different topic from one of our LOVEboldly panelists - these are LGBTQIA Christians sharing their stories and what they have learned along the way, these are parents of LGBTQ youth, and these are pastors who have committed specific energy to loving the members of the community and congregation who are LGBTQIA.
Please subscribe to this podcast so you will hear the episodes as they come out each week, beginning the first week of May. The first 3 episodes will be members of the LGBTQIA community sharing their stories about their experiences growing up in Christian communities. From there we will learn from our founder about what she has learned after a decade of working in this space. We’ll hear two pastors who have landed in different places theologically, but have in common a desire for their churches to do better than churches have done in the past in this area. We’ll talk about how to create safety in the church, how to understand the issues that our transgender friends are facing each day, and finally, we’ll have a panel of LGBTQIA+ Christians who will answer questions that our attendees submitted during the training in person in the fall of 2021.
We’re looking forward to making these important messages accessible to more people, so please follow the podcast & share it with others! If you'd like to watch these video recordings, you can find them for purchase on our website at https://www.loveboldly.net/shop

Through her leadership with LOVEboldly, Heidi empowers LGBTQIA+ and straight Christians to step towards loving one another boldly and equips Christians to engage with dignity and civility in the polarizing conversations surrounding faith and sexuality.
