Outside of the coffee shop, Al is very involved with the West Bend community. From helping youth organizations to participating in events like the West Bend Winter Warm Up, Al believes helping others makes his home community a better place to live and own a business.

This week, Jess Wildes, West Bend's Communications and Economic Development Director, joins me to talk about the West Bend Winter Warm Up happening in downtown West Bend Saturday and Sunday, January 22 and 23. The event features more than 50 ice sculptures, specials at downtown businesses and restaurants, the Hugh Jass Fat Tire bike race at Regner Park, and a luminary walk at Lac Lawrann Conservancy. It's going to be a great time, and Jess tells us all about it.

And this week, Jamie Ludovic, Washington County's Chief Community Development Officer, joins me to talk about all of the great sledding options in the county. 29 NOV 2021 · Take a stroll through the lights this holiday season at Enchantment in the Park in West Bend's Regner Park. The event goes on Black Friday through Christmas Eve. This year, they have a 60-foot LED Christmas tree! It's amazing.
Lori Yahr, Enchantment's executive director joins me to talk about what goes into putting the displays together every year—from coming up with new ideas to getting the displays installed.

Their clinic provides health and dental services to those unable to otherwise afford it with a focus on keeping individuals out of ER rooms if possible. Associate Director Melanie Gonring joins me this week talk about what they do at their office!
