5 FEB 2025 · The NFL is down to its final 2. The best of the AFC (The Kansas City Chiefs) will face the best of the NFC (The Philadelphia Eagles) in Super Bowl LIX.
In this 1st of 2 Super Bowl episodes Hidden Gems Football brings on Steve Dunndealz Vela to help discuss how each team made it to the big game.
Mike Steph focuses on the referee's, asking if they are helping the Chiefs? Or maybe they are accidentally tarnishing this dynastic run of Mahomes and crew. Steve has a different point of view. He believes it is as simple as the best team won.

12 JAN 2025 · The most exciting weekend in the NFL (Pre-Super Bowl) comes to a conclusion with a couple of prime time games.
On Sunday night the 12-5 Washington Commanders will head down south to face Tampa Bay. The 10-7 Buccaneers come in hot, winning 6 of their last 7. However Washington comes into the playoffs on a 5 game winning streak of their own.
Then the final game of Wildcard Weekend happens on Monday night. The 14-3 Minnesota Vikings will head to Arizona to face the Los Angeles Rams. This game is being relocated due to the wild fires in teh Los Angeles area. The Vikings are coming off a crucial loss to Detroit while vying for the 1st seed in the playoffs, however they had won 9 straight games prior. The Rams also had a streak of wins going prior to a week 18 defeat. They had won 5 straight until the Seahawks took them down to end the season.

12 JAN 2025 · One of the most exciting weekends in the NFL (and all of sports) continue today as the the Wildcard Weekend continues.
Sunday's early game is between the AFC's 7th seed Denver Broncos and 2nd seeded Buffalo Bills. This will be a tough ride for the 10-7 Broncos lead by rookie Bo Nix. The 13-4 Bills look poised to make a run to the super bowl, and are of course lead by this seasons likely MVP Josh Allen.
In the late afternoon game the NFC's 7th seed Green Bay Packers head to the city of Brotherly Love to face the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles have won 10 of their last 11 games, while the Packers lost their final 2 regular season games.
*Episode 3 of the week will feature the Sunday and Monday night games.

11 JAN 2025 · Finally! The NFL Playoffs have arrived! And this season the playoff seem more wide open than usual. This truly seems like a year that the lower seed have a shot!
The playoffs kick off Saturday afternoon as the Los Angeles Chargers head to Houston to face the Texans. Jim Harbaugh has brought his winning ways to Los Angeles, as the Chargers won 11 games this season. The teams offense looks to be back on track now that running back J.K. Dobbins has returned to action. The sports book have taken notice, making the Chargers one of 2 road favorites in this weekends match ups.
On the flipside, the AFC SOuth Champion Texans come into this matchup struggling. In weeks 16 & 17 they got absolutely destroyed both the Ravens and Dolphins. Can CJ Stroud and crew get their MoJo back in time to make a deep playoff run?
The late game features the top 2 teams of the AFC North, as the Steelers head to Baltimore to face the Ravens. The Steelers were unable to hold onto their divisional lead down the stretch as they hit a late cold spell. In fact the team has not won in over a month having lost their final 4 games of the regular season. The Ravens on the other hand, are starting to look like a team of destiny. They have won 4 straight, including a 34-17 victory over the Steelers just a couple of weeks back.
Survivor season may be over, but the NFL playoffs is the ultimate win or go home competition. Let the HGF crew inform and educate you before kickoff.

NFL Week 18 (pt 2):Car Panthers vs Atl Falcons; NO Saints vs TB Buccaneers; Min Vikings vs Det Lions
5 JAN 2025 · The end is near! Week 18 of the NFL season closes today. And their are still some teams jostling for playoff positions. In this episode Hidden Gems Football focuses on the key NFC match-ups.
First game up is the Carolina Panthers heading to Atlanta to face the Falcons.For the most part, Panther fans have to feel good about their teams development as of late, even if it hasn't translated to many wins. For Atlanta, this game is crucial, They must win, and then hope for a Tampa Bay loss to make the playoffs.
Speaking of Tampa Bay, the Buccaneers are hosting the New Orleans Saints in their season finale. For the Bucs it's simple, win and they are in the playoffs. The Saints are wrapping up a tough season and will be playing without any of their starters at the skilled positions, as ALL of them are injured.
But the NFL truly save the best for last. The 14-2 Minnesota Vikings are heading to Detroit to face the 14-2 Lions. The winner will not only be the champion of the NFC North, but also will enter the playoffs as the #1 seed and receive a first round bye. The team on the losing side will be regulated to the #5 seed and have to play on the road on wild card weekend. The stakes are high & the teams are amongst the leagues best this season.
Finally, Hidden Gems Football discusses some survivor possibilities if you were fortunate enough to make it to week 18.

4 JAN 2025 · It is finally here,Week 18 of the NFL season. While most things are already set for the NFL's postseason, some teams still have some business to take care of. Hidden Gems Football uses part 1 of their Week 18 preview to take on the AFC.
First game up is the Cincinnati Bengals heading to Pittsburgh to face the Steelers. The 8-8 Bengals will need help to make the playoffs, but their 1st step is to beat the Steelers. By the time the game starts, the 10-6 Steelers will know if they still have a chance at the AFC North title. But even if the division title is out of reach, winning the game may be crucial. At the moment, Pittsburgh is the 5 seed coming into the weekend, which makes the struggling Houston Texas their likely match-up. If they fall down to 6, they would be looking at facing the streaking Baltimore Ravens.
Hidden Gems Football then moves onto New York on a Sunday afternoon as the Miami Dolphins will take on the New York Jets. A win by the 8-8 Dolphins would not only keep the Miami's playoff dreams alive, but it would eliminate Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals. On the other side of the ball, the Jets are simply playing for pride. Does this bruised and battered 4-12 Jets team still have any pride left?
And finally, Mike and Mo will discuss the game that will most impact on the final AFC playoffs, the Kansas City Chiiefs versus the Denver Bronco's. The 15-1 Chiefs have already locked up a 1st round bye and they may be planning on resting their stars until playoff time. However, for the Broncos, this game is crucial. A win and they are in. A loss and they would need the Dolphins and the Bengals to lose as well to sneak in thru the post seasons backdoor.

25 DEC 2024 · Week 17 of the NFL starts early, on Christmas Day. We have Wednesday football! And not rain, snow or technically difficulties can stop Hidden Gems Football from previewing the action for you.
Christmas starts of with the Kansas City Chiefs heading to Pittsburg to face the Steelers. The Chiefs are 14-1 have won 5 in a row since their single loss at Buffalo. Meanwhile the 10-6 Steelers are hoping to return to their winning ways after losing their last 2.
The second gave of the holiday will have the Baltimore Ravens heading to Houston to face the Texans. The Ravens are 10-5 and playing well, winning 3 of their last 4. The 9-6 Texans have split their last 4 games but have not looked as strong as they had earlier in the season.
Mike Steph has family obligations but TheMoJoKing enlists TheMoJoPrince to help navigate his threw some streaming issues. HGF wishes you a Merry Christmas and a happy betting year!

Football Sunday ends on a solid note as the NFC South leading Tampa Bay Buccaneers head to Dallas to face the Dallas Cowboys. Baker Mayfield has lead the Bucs to an 8-6 record, including wins in their last 4 games. The 6-8 Cowboys have long been out of playoff contention but are still putting up a fight as they have won 3 of their last 4.
The Monday night feature is a game not expected to be competitive, as teh New Orleans Saints head to Green Bay to face the Packers. The heavily injured Saints are 5-9 and will play without their starting Quarter Back, Running Back and Wide Receivers. On the other side, the 10-4 Packers are riding a wave, winning 4 of their last 5.
