2 MAY 2023 · Melvin Farmer is one of the co-founders of the street gang Eight Trey Gangsta Crips that was formed in the 70's in the South Central Los Angeles. Melvin was good friend with Crip founder Raymond Washington and notorious Crip member Stanley "Tookie" Williams who was convicted for a quadruple homicide and ultimately executed by the State of California. Melvin Farmer has been arrested over 60 times and after lengthy prison stints he began working in the community to curb gang violence and help write legislation that would help 3 strike offenders.

14 MAR 2023 · C-Bo, born Shawn “Cowboy” Thomas on 1971 in the Garden Block area of Sacramento, California. He has sold over 3.5 million albums independently since 1993. He is currently signed to West Coast Mafia Records. C-Bo, notoriously known for his relationship with law enforcement, was one of the first rappers to be jailed due to his lyrical content, a scathing critique of political officials and police on his track "Deadly Game", and unsuccessfully argued for appeal 3 times, while gaining nationwide attention for arguably his most successful mainstream album. He was arrested in California in 1998, under the suspicion that his violent rap lyrics violated his parole.
He then in Ohio, rapped his court statement to the presiding judge, who gave C-Bo probation on the condition that he also rap in a Public Service Announcement. Apart from his extensive work as a solo artist he has also worked with a wide variety of known Rappers such as Tupac Shakur, E-40, Yukmouth, Spice 1, Tech N9ne, Dru Down, Kokane, Daz Dillinger and Brotha Lynch Hung. C-Bo is also part of the bay-area super group Thug Lordz, along with frequent collaborators Spice 1 and Yukmouth.
28 FEB 2023 · Cuttino Mobley took over as the Captain of Power in 2021, replacing Corey Maggette after his retirement from the league. Mobley started the season off hot before dealing with some lingering injuries throughout the season, but he still finished with an impressive average of 11.8 points per game.Mobley had a stellar season in 2019, ranking among the league’s top 10 in points (17.0) and assists (2.5) per game while tying for third in steals (1.0). He also pulled down 5 rebounds a game.Mobley – a.k.a. “The Cat” – scored the game winner in the 2018 BIG3 championship game and was an integral part of Power’s championship run.
His role shifted from 2017 to 2018 due to Corey Maggette’s comeback from injury, but it didn’t change his ability to score or facilitate in Coach Lieberman’s system.Mobley attended the University of Rhode Island and was selected in the second round of the 1998 NBA Draft by the Houston Rockets. Mobley and backcourt mate Steve Francis formed one of the NBA’s best scoring duos during their time together in Houston. Mobley later signed with the Los Angeles Clippers, and in 2006 helped lead them to their first playoff series victory since moving to California in 1978. Known for his cagey post-up game as well as his three-point prowess, Mobley averaged 16 ppg across 12 NBA seasons.

Williams worked as an EP at TMZ and was a Supervising Producer for FOX’s Who Shot Biggie and Tupac. The Oakland native was a Producer and co-host of the A&E Biography investigative series “Who Killed Tupac” about Tupac Shakur.
Emmy and 8-time NAACP Image award-winning Williams was The Executive Producer/Showrunner of the Centric/BET Networks docu-series BEING. Williams worked as a director and senior producer for TV One's acclaimed "Unsung" and "Unsung Hollywood" documentary series. The show won multiple NAACP Image Awards.
He was a Supervising Producer for Tv One's Celebrity Crime Files and produces BET’s award winning series "American Gangster" and has also produced films like the Paramount Pictures released "Wu: The Story of the Wu- Tang Clan" and the Universal/ Def Jam Records film "A Hustler's Ambition," a documentary about Young Jeezy that aired on MTV2. Williams worked as a Coordinating Producer for BET's hit gospel music series "Sunday Best." In 2004 he was as a development consultant for VH1 Networks. His other TV writing/producing credits include the NAACP Image Awards on NBC, BET Honors, BET Hip Hop Awards, BET Awards, NAACP Image Awards on FOX and the 2005 Hip Hop Honors on VH1.
