4 MAR 2025 · Christians belong to God the Father. He did a miraculous work through His only begotten son, Jesus Christ, when He died for the sins of the world. As believers in and followers of Christ, we are no longer of this world. In it, yes, but not of it. We are being sanctified, or some would say, set apart to glorify God and to do His good work.
Our lives are dedicated to and consecrated for God's purpose. He knows exactly what He wants to accomplish through us. Let us aim to please and glorify Him.

15 JAN 2025 · Everyday life presents new challenges. What should we do and where should we go when life presents hurt, despair, and disappointment that causes us to feel tired, hopeless, angry, anxious, fearful, and without peace? Run to God and He will help us face those giants.
Arise and give thanks to God for blessing us with another day! Despite our challenges, God sustains our lives. Job said it best in chapter 12:10 "In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind."
We will talk about turning to God and His Word when discouragement and fear get the best of us. God is our refuge and strength, a present help in times of trouble.

17 DEC 2024 · The Advent Season celebrates the never-ending story of Jesus Christ. He was born in a manger, but the story doesn't end there. He was crucified on the cross, buried in a new tomb, and resurrected. He will return! Christmas is a time of reflection.
Christ entered this world according to prophecy and died on the cross for the sins of the world. Merry Christmas! Join us as we celebrate the Advent Season with HOPE, PEACE, JOY, and LOVE which we have in Christ Jesus.
3 SEP 2024 · A worthy life resides fully in Jesus Christ. God has positioned us in Christ and clothed us in His righteousness. As a believer, our lives should align with God's expectations. Our desires and goals are to walk worthy or consistently with who God is and what He has done. God is the one who saves and calls us. Through His power, we can bear fruit in every good work.
Eph. 4:1 (NIV), says, "As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received." Walking worthy is a true walk of faith, resulting from being in Christ Jesus.

23 JUL 2024 · Jesus Christ is depicted through various figures, metaphors, and titles. One is the "Lion of Judah," evoking imagery of majesty, power, and authority. Rev. 5:5 (NIV), says, "Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He can open the scroll and its seven seals.” The Lion Tells His Tale is an African Proverb that says, "Until the lion tells his tale, the hunt will always glorify the hunter."Essentially, he who holds the pen controls the narrative. How do we make room for diverse voices to be heard in the story of American History? Who will tell the "Unspoken Truths" of the African American experience? These questions are explored in the world premiere play, "The Lion Tells His Tale." Christ paid the ultimate sacrifice through His death. He conquered death by rising from the dead. Christ Jesus is the personification of salvation. Isaiah 12:2 (NKJV) says, "Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord himself, is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation." 30 APR 2024 · During the last days, spiritual deception will rise. False doctrines always contradict the Word of God. People will stray from sound doctrine. As believers, we must attune our ears to the voice of God and meditate on His Word day and night. Let the Holy Spirit guide and teach us, if not, spiritual deception may sound good and seep in. We must remain faithful, diligent, and prepared. I Timothy 4:1-2 (NKJV) says, 1 "Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, 2 speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron.." 19 MAR 2024 · The seven last Words of Jesus Christ should cause believers to pause and reset. Jesus in His suffering showed His divinity and humanness. He understands what we go through when suffering!
This lesson is not exhaustive, but a time to reflect on those things that matter most. Jesus exemplifies forgiveness. He offers salvation to those who believe. He lays the foundation for relationships. He understands feelings of abandonment. He experienced distress. He is triumphant. And, in Him, there will be a reunion of the saints.
