Much of the garbage that we generate in our house is organic matter, which can be used, after treatment, as an organic amendment in orchards and gardens.
Composting at home has many benefits for everyone:
Reduce the amount of organic matter going to landfills.
It reduces the use of inorganic fertilizers, which it replaces.
Saves irrigation water due to the water holding capacity of the compost.
Provides the necessary nutrients for the development of plants naturally.
It reduces the costs of transporting waste with the consequent benefits for citizens.

24 MAY 2021 · Composting has multiple benefits, here we list some of them
1. Returns nutrients to the soil, controls erosion and prevents soil erosion caused by rain washing.
2. Corrects the structure of the soil and acts as a sponge that retains water, which releases little by little for the benefit of the plants.
3. Retains moisture and allows air to pass through.
4. Recycle and reduce the volume of organic waste, to convert it into compost.
5. Serves as an antibiotic against microorganisms.
It is very important to raise awareness regarding the pollution that is generated by garbage, whose waste can seep into the aquifer levels and contaminate plants and vegetables. Therefore, we all have the task of making our own habitat, a safe and clean place.
