Instead, VisionQuest, premiering October 14, 2026 on Disney+, continues the story of White Vision, the rebuilt synthezoid last seen in WandaVision, with Paul Bettany returning to the role. White Vision emerges from hiding, consults the AI personas embedded in his programming — including J.A.R.V.I.S., F.R.I.D.A.Y., E.D.I.T.H., and a imprisoned Ultron, all appearing in human form within his mindscape. His quiet existence ends when a bounty is placed on his head, forcing him to flee with Thomas Shepard, a mysterious boy who may be his son reincarnate. Showrunner Terry Matalas describes it as an identity crisis story — a Frankenstein tale about who Vision truly is. Bettany calls the finale a "springboard" for Vision's future in the MCU, fueling speculation about his return in Avengers: Doomsday or Secret Wars.

22 SEP 2026 · Kyoshi will not be the next Avatar series lead. The next animated series is Avatar: Seven Havens, premiering October 9, 2026 on Paramount+. Set roughly 225 years after The Legend of Korra, it follows Pavi (voiced by Saheli Khan), a young earthbender who discovers she is the next Avatar after Korra. In this era, the Avatar is no longer seen as a savior but feared as a destroyer of humanity, forcing Pavi to hide while uncovering the truth. Created by original Avatar creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, the series has 26 episodes across two books, with Book 1 airing weekly in batches of three episodes. Kyoshi's full story was already told in F.C. Yee's two novels, The Rise of Kyoshi and The Shadow of Kyoshi, set 396 years before The Last Airbender. While Kyoshi remains a fan favorite, no animated project centered on her has been announced.

After Jonathan Majors was fired, Marvel scrapped the entire Kang storyline and replaced him with Doctor Doom. At San Diego Comic-Con 2024, Avengers: The Kang Dynasty was renamed Avengers: Doomsday, with Robert Downey Jr. returning as Victor von Doom. Kevin Feige admitted the pivot started before Majors' trial even ended: Kang "wasn't Thanos," and Doom was always the one destined to fill that role. Kang did return in 2026, but only in X-Men '97 as Rama-Tut, voiced by John de Lancie — completely separate from the MCU. Marvel's mistake was casting one actor across every Kang variant, making a recast nearly impossible. Meanwhile, Kang in the comics is heading toward destroying Earth-616 in The Avengers #34, a fate the MCU version will never reach. The MCU's Kang era is over.

The Flash operates far beyond anything the Avengers can react to, able to neutralize most of the team before a single punch is thrown. Superman matches that speed at light level, and only Thor can even attempt to keep up. In raw power, the Justice League fields Superman, Wonder Woman, and Shazam against Thor and the Hulk. Superman has canonically defeated Thor in JLA/Avengers crossovers, and while the Hulk can fight Superman for a time, he eventually gets overwhelmed. The only real wildcards are World Breaker Hulk and Odin-Force Thor, but both need time to activate, and the Flash will never give them that time. In a standard lineup with no preparation, the Justice League wins decisively.
