29 APR 2021 · HARVEY E. MORRIS is the President/CEO of TUFF STUFF
Productions. Harvey is an Emmy Award-winning music
producer, gifted singer/songwriter, vocal arranger, actor and
professional drummer. Harvey's extensive, diversified
experience has contributed to his reputation as a consummate
professional in the entertainment industry.
Harvey was born in Bronx, New York to Harvey and Lorraine
Morris. Early on, his parents knew he was destined to be a
musician. By age 2, Harvey’s parents purchased his first drum
set to keep him from beating on their pots and pans. By the age
of 4, Harvey and his cousins were dancing and singing to the
sounds of Motown and Stax Records. It was clear to Harvey’s
family from that point on that he desired to become an
entertainer. Growing up in a household with God-fearing
grandparents, Harvey attended the St. Luke A.M.E. church in
Harlem, New York, and at age 8 began singing in the Children’s
Choir under the caring directorship of Yvonne Clark. When he
was just 12 years old, and under the tutelage of music director
Leon Tubman, also of St. Luke’s A.M.E. in Harlem, Harvey
recorded his first commercial for American Airlines. The years
to follow have been constantly progressing for him.
During those colorful years, Harvey has collected a patchwork,
quilt-like scrapbook with pages that continue to be filled with
tour dates, photographs, recordings, wonderful opportunities
and memories that have allowed him to share the stage with
artists and groups including The Main Ingredient, featuring
Cuba Gooding, Freddie Jackson, Cameo, Roy Ayers, Stevie
Wonder, Taylor Dane, Bobby Humphrey, Melba Moore, George
Faison, Allison Williams and Gavin DeGraw, to name a few.
Harvey has also tipped his hat into voiceovers for TV Land on
the Nickelodeon network. He has created music for Ashley
Stewart, a clothing company for women, and co-produced the
title track for the PBS television special, Voices in Conflict, for
which he earned an Emmy. Harvey has also earned SAG/
AFTRA credits for his role as “Phat Jimmy” in the motion
picture Begin Again (2013).
Most recently, and under his company TUFF STUFF
Productions, Harvey released his first CD entitled Harvey
Morris & The House Of Praise (2016).
Harvey’s objective is to empower people through positive music
and image. One of his favorite scriptures is Luke 12:48, “To
whom much is given, much is required.”
12 APR 2021 · I was born in the small Northern New Jersey town of Englewood. My family and I were consistent church
attendees. My father was a church musician and can’t ever remember music not being apart of his life.
My father’s influence along with other musicians and Gods gifting helped develop my passion for music.
My start in music began at 5 yrs old. In church you’d see me strumming an acoustic guitar when the
music was playing, but after the music stopped and preaching began I went to sleep.
Englewood is filled with well-known talent from Silvia Robinson to Dizzy Gillespie. It was with these
influences, along with others that peaked my interest in music more. My start in music production began
in the early 90’s, it was by this time I was playing multiple instrument. From drums, keyboard, organ, bass
guitar and that guitar that was my sleeping pill on Sunday mornings when the preacher would preach,
was my thing.
By the mid 90’s I had produced and been a part of countless projects from Hip-hop, R&B, Latin and
Gospel music. I also graduated then and went on to study music technology at The Institute of Audio
Research in Manhattan. Upon finishing the program among other freelance projects, I was ready to
proceed with my career.
As life happens things progress and continue and eventually I was a grown man and had a family. My
wife Diane and I married in 2002 and our 3 children (1 grandson) continued doing life right along with my
music. Still having passion for music I began to create music for myself this time with me as the artist.
Currently I still work on projects for myself and others. I love music in all genres, as for music is an
expression of the heart and to pigeon hole it to only one specific genres seem incomplete. Every skill I
have is contributed to being free to express myself with what I hear. Whether I’m writing for a project;
music or lyrics that’s my approach. As long as the message is clear and it’s pointing to a positive
prospective, I’m staying true to the muse.
Fast forward up to today, I’ve been blessed to meet a group of guys that’s true to themselves and God.
Gabriel Oree and Edward Johnson, Jr., owners of Timeless Sounds, LLC and I have connected on
numerous occasions from touring with our music and now to the single Let’s Talk about Us. It’s a love
song dedicated to my wife and all married couples.

Tony! Toni! Toné! were
an American soul/R&B group from Oakland, California, popular
during the late 1980s and early to mid-1990s. During the band's
heyday, it was composed of D'wayne Wiggins on
lead vocals and guitar, his brother Raphael Saadiq (born Charles
Ray Wiggins) on lead vocals and bass, and their cousin Timothy
Christian Riley on drums and keyboards.
The album spawned several #1 R&B hits with "It Never Rains
(In Southern California)", "Feels Good", "The Blues", and
"Whatever You Want" all topping the R&B charts. "Feels
Good" was the group's first single to breach the Top 10 of
the Billboard Hot 100 and went gold. Tony! Toni! Toné!
disbanded after the release of their fourth album House of
Music (1996), which critics cite as their best work.
Today the group consists of Elijah Baker, Jubu Smith, Carl
Wheeler, Amar Khalil (a lead singer), and Antron Haile. There
is new music, and the band members are back with two brand
new singles “Trading Places” and “Never Give You Up”! It is
the same band and with its rich original sound. However, the
fans of Tony Toni Tone need to hear the real story of why the
group disbanded. There is a documentary on YouTube that can
provide those answers called Loyalty No Royalty The Breakup
of Tony Toni Tone. The story will be told across many
platforms, radio, film, and television.
The group looks forward to giving back to the fans and getting
back to their first love which is making and producing good
authentic music. Trading Places and Never Give You up can be
downloaded from all music digital outlets. We will see you on a
stage near you very soon!
