"Mayara grew up in Brazil and she had to overcome a very adverse and traumatic childhood. She has a history of physical, mental and sexual abuse that led her into an intense dependency on alcohol since her early years. Mayara finally moved to America in her mid twenties when she started her healing process that continues to evolve every day. Today, after a decade of healing work and extensive research on trauma and consciousness, she is a certified Sound Therapist and uses acoustic sound to relax the nervous system helping her clients to release emotions that might be trapped somewhere in the body causing mental, physical, and emotional unbalance and distress."

Today we talk about the ancient Hindu scriptures that make up what is considered to be one of the holy scriptures for Hinduism : "Bhagavad Gita".
There is so much practical information that is passed down to us in these scriptures; the information is very much applicable to us, even in our current modern times.
An overall birds-eye view of the book is that the central story being told is one that helps the reader become more aware of their own lives, helping point out the path to 'Ego Dissolve' & the dangers of attachment and ego identification and how selfless acts lead to true abundance in all aspects of life (plus much, much more!!).
This book is highly recommended - there are many different version in both book and audiobook form.
This information is useful at any age and at any stage of your life! There is a lot of replay value...

Jeff releases some of his signature insight and value-bombs on how more "Yin" in your life can really help all avenues and aspects of your experience.

31 MAY 2023 · This was one of my favourite interviews to do, to date!
I love Samson's energy, his storytelling and his infectious laugh. We discuss dualities & contrasting forces, his turning point from turning a life of partying and working long hours and just generally being unhappy, to turning a full 180 degrees into a being full of space and gratitude!
We discuss gratitude and the power of acceptance...we discuss the influence our environment has on us...we discuss the importance of a morning routine...Samson also shares his upbringing (which includes some very relateable stories of divorced parents and domestic violence, along with moving close to 100 times over his teenage years).
The best stuff on this episode is Samson's stories about his job as a water delivery man in the mountains in Colorado. He literally delivers water jugs of spring water to folks up in the mountains that surround the city he lives in! He talks about how he blesses the water, and always finds the time to pull over and sit down & breathe and feel gratitude for himself and his life.
Great stuff here!!
