1 DEC 2025 · This week, Naomi Loveday shared a powerful message on forgiveness titled “Forgiving the Unforgivable.” When she’s not leading our Media Team or serving in Praise and Worship, Naomi works as a drug and alcohol counsellor with a deep passion for supporting people who’ve experienced trauma. For years, she wrestled with anger and bitterness from painful events in her past Feelings that kept her tied to those moments and made healing feel out of reach.
But when God gently nudged her toward the difficult journey of forgiveness, Naomi began to experience the freedom and peace that can come when we release what’s been holding us captive.
Content Note: This message includes references to trauma and abuse. We invite you to engage in whatever way feels safest for you.

25 NOV 2025 · Join MIC as we explores what it means to live authentically in a world where truth often feels blurred by misinformation, fear, and judgment. Does truth still matter? Absolutely.
Drawing from Scripture and the life of Jesus—the embodiment of truth—this sermon reminds us that: Truth sets us free, not to shame or exclude, but to live authentically and courageously. Truth restores, revealing God’s love for every person without exception.
Truth transforms, inviting us to live with integrity, honesty, and compassion.
As we honour Transgender Day of Remembrance, we reflect on the truth that every life is sacred, every identity beloved, and no one should have to hide who they are to be accepted.
Call to Action: Choose truth over fear. Choose authenticity over appearance. Choose compassion over judgment. Stand with those on the margins and let your life tell the truth about God’s love.

11 NOV 2025 · Have you ever run from something—your past, your pain, or even your calling—only to find that God was waiting for you at the end of the road? In this message, From Slave to Sibling, we explore one of the shortest yet most transformative letters in the Bible: Paul’s letter to Philemon. It’s a story of a runaway slave named Onesimus, his master Philemon, and the Apostle Paul—three lives forever changed by the radical grace of Jesus Christ. Discover how the Gospel:
- Redefines relationships and identity through grace.
- Transforms fugitives into family.
- Calls us to forgiveness, reconciliation, and restoration.
- Shows that no one is beyond redemption and no relationship beyond repair.
Whether you feel like Onesimus (running), Philemon (wrestling to forgive), or Paul (called to stand in the gap), this message will remind you that grace changes everything

16 OCT 2025 · Paul's letter comes to a close in Ephesians 6:10–20 as we discover what it truly means to “put on the full armour of God.” Paul’s calls believers to stand firm in spiritual strength, not human effort — to live as a Spirit-empowered community reflecting Christ’s character in a world filled with unseen influences from the powers of evil. Each piece of the armour — truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, and the Word — represents the character of Christ that we’re invited to “put on.”
This is not a solo fight — it’s a call to unity in the Body of Christ, empowered by prayer and sustained by love. Paul connects this spiritual armour to the prophecies of Isaiah and the mission of Jesus, showing that the armour of God is ultimately Christ Himself whose character does not bow to the powers but rather overcomes them.

7 OCT 2025 · Who are you imitating with your life? In Ephesians 5, Paul calls us to leave behind darkness and live as children of light. We’re shaped by the voices we follow, but as God’s children, we’re called to imitate Christ—walking in love, light, and wisdom, submitting to one another regardless of gender, culture or status.
This message unpacks how Paul’s radical teaching redefined relationships, challenged culture, and pointed the church toward a Spirit-filled life of humility, service, and sacrificial love.
Our apologies for the slight echo in the begining of the podast.

30 SEP 2025 · This week we continue our journey through the book of Ephesians. In Chapter 4 Paul shifts gears from the understanding of who we are in Christ to what we do now as new creations in Christ. Paul's attention is focused on unity within the community of believers as an expression of the love of God. How will such a diverse group of people hold onto unity and continue to love one another in the likeness of Christ? This is not possible in our own strength and understanding, therefore grace gifts were given to the church to empower us to love another and to pursue good deeds.
