He was dubbed by the press as the "Torso Killer" and the "Times Square Ripper" due to the brutal nature of his crimes. Ultimately convicted of 18 murders, he claims to have murdered at least 100. He was one sick and twisted guy. Â

First up, we have the man that many thought would take over as Gambino Family boss after the death of Gambino, Aniello Dellacroce instead that title going to Paul Castellano. He was the mentor to John Gotti and after his death and the failure of Castellano to show up to the funeral, Gotti had to take out Castellano. Â
Next up is the guy that was killed along side Castellano, Tommy Bilotti. In a move that angered some in the Gambino Family, he was named underboss and that partly played a role in why he along with Castellano were murdered. Â

We got Domenico Cefalu who is believed to be the current boss, and with his ascension to the top, it marked the end of the Gotti era of the family. Frank Cali was believed to be an acting boss at the time he was killed outside of his home in 2019. It was the first hit on a mafia boss since the 80's when Gotti took out Paul Castellano. Then there is Lorenzo Mannino which not much is known about him, but he is believed to be the current front boss of the family.
