In a long and varied career, Bob's retained executive search placements have resulted in hundreds of millions of dollars of new revenues to property & casualty, financial services, real estate and not-for-profit companies. He helped establish two entrepreneurial firms. One offered multinational, multicultural leadership and communication training. The other helped military veterans transition to relevant civilian jobs. He also led a federal program at the New Jersey Institute of Technology recruiting, training, counseling and placing veterans and displaced IT professionals. 21 MAR 2017 · Our Guest: Dr. Mary Bemker is a recognized scholar and practitioner, a dynamic and forward – thinking nurse educator/administrator, and an individual with a deep commitment to nursing and mental health. She taught in various learning environments, and her evaluations from students and administrators have been exemplary. As an administrator, Dr. Bemker oversaw the development and operation of RN to BSN, MSN and DNP programs, growing these programs from a startup of seven students to over 1000 within a three year period. She led the effort to get all three programs CCNE accredited within a two year span, which was accomplished. In addition, Dr. Bemker was a part of three additional, successful accreditation efforts. Over the last five years, Dr. Bemker concentrated on academic leadership in such roles as coordinator, chair and director where she oversaw 25+ faculty. She served as a nurse leader in a joint effort between her organization and a national nursing association/webinars, oversaw recruiting and addressed community in the online environment. In addition to publishing/editing articles and presenting in multiple platforms, Dr. Bemker is currently under contract to edit a nursing text and write chapters for DNP texts -scheduled release date of 2016.

It also works in social situations when you’re asked the usual icebreaker, “What do you do?” Tonight Rod takes you through his 5 point elevator pitch packet that is flexible enough to use in any situation. An elevator pitch, elevator speech, or elevator statement is a short summary used to quickly and simply define a person, profession or service and its value proposition. The name "elevator pitch" reflects the idea that it should be possible to deliver the summary in the time span of an elevator ride, or approximately thirty seconds to two minutes.
