25 MAY 2024 · Bill McCleary in Macon County, he has a variety of tractors from the 1950s, John Deere, Allis Chalmers, Minneapolis Moline. He had them on display at Farming in the 50s event in Argenta this month.

18 MAY 2024 · Lee Johnson, near Elkhart. He has an Oliver Tractor that was built to go to Vietnam, but it never went there. Turns out Lee was expecting to go to Vietnam too, but he was sent to Alaska instead.

11 MAY 2024 · Owner Brandy Renshaw with an adaptive reuse project for an 1800’s property in Anna that is now home to eight businesses.

4 MAY 2024 · Most everyone who lived in the country spent hours on a school bus during their younger years, and if they were lucky, they had a bus driver who knew their name and cared about their safety and wellbeing. Betty Duggan drove a bus in Jersey county for years and even though she ran a tight ship her riders were motivated to be well behaved, and were rewarded with the radio playing a piece of bubble gum at the end of a good week.    

27 APR 2024 · Macon county farmer and proud farm bureau member, Dennis Barnard talks about his grandpa’s 1954 Chevy grain truck and the memories of their trips through the country enjoying farm life.

20 APR 2024 · Charlie Meier, state representative of district 109, is a farmer who has quite a collection of antiques. He has several tractors that do a little work and run the parade routes, but he also has some other antiques on the farm, including an old John Deere manure spreader and a horse-drawn hearse last used in 1928.

13 APR 2024 · Annawan native and WIU grad Beau Spencer Thompson just collected his one-millionth Chicago Cubs baseball card. He was honored last Friday at Wrigley Field by the Cubs and Topps Trading Cards.

6 APR 2024 · Marshall County farmer, Brad Schumacher has many hobbies and interest. He has a gift for announcing at cattle shows and calling demo derbies around the state at county fairs.     He also has helped driven in derbies, and in this edition of Vintage Country talks about his favorite car he every built.  It’s a 1974 Oldsmobile station wagon.
