We go into his journey as a teenager where he was bullied in high school for his speech impairment and how he got through this. We also talk about the surgery he had to cure this, and the journey of recovery in terms of getting his voice back.
We talk about his latest release, “Demons”, and what the lyrics behind the song is really about.
Dom Colizzi is also an anti-bullying spokesperson and travels from high school to high school in delivering messages encouragement for those who may have faced such an unfortunate circumstance, and what they can do for themselves to overcome this.
We also discuss the short film “Somebody’s Hero” that was based on Dom’s story in High School. This was directed by Zane Stephens (The Vampire Diaries and The Internship.
