4 SEP 2019 · This is an inspiring and moving podcast, one of the A-I-R Team's best, coming from their personal open-hearted and genuine experience of life lived with a disability.
A-i-R Team regulars Anna Todd and Rowan Ford ask colleague John Aggett about his views on labels, disability, autism and accessibility, giving us straightforward, valuable insight.

27 AUG 2019 · It's great when volunteer efforts are upgraded into paid employment.
That's what the A-I-R Team's Rowan Ford discusses here with team-mates Anna Todd and John Aggett, in celebratory mood about his recent good news.
Congratulations Rowan on a well-deserved appointment!
21 AUG 2019 · With a different and unusual approach in her field of speech and language therapy, Laura Newman talks to the A-I-R Team about the basics and nuances of listening and communication, and details her angle on this hugely important aspect of human interaction.
In a fascinating and far-reaching exchange, John addresses the lack of respect people seem to have for each other on social media, Anna enquires about the right balance of listening and talking, and Rowan even gets advice on blogging.
Extra value comes in the form of how to be a better listener and communicator, approaching difficult situations and people, and what it takes to be a good therapist.
There’s also good advice on how to find the right speech and language therapist, including www.helpwithtalking.com

Mansel makes it clear how much hard work is needed for such a grand vision and how things can take many twists and turns, along the way.
As ever, great questions, and a wonderful guest who is determined to make a positive impact on his local community.

22 JUL 2019 · Busy mum (as you will hear in this great recording) and self-confessed 'Mrs Angry', Nina Jeffries decided to become a local councillor to make a difference in her community in Teignmouth.
Here, she talks to the A-I-R Team about politics in general, disability issues and the need for younger people to get involved in local political processes. She touches on education, the future of South Devon and dog poo (but not literally!).
New to the political world, Nina is refreshingly keen, community-focused and clearly well-intentioned."We're more and more just allowing a few people to shape our future, and it shouldn't be like that," says Nina who is Portfolio Holder for Business, Economy & Tourism with the Liberal Democrats.
