21 OCT 2026 · In Week 6 of The Extra Point, The Croz opens by honoring Mike Ditka, the Hall of Fame tight end and Super Bowl-winning coach of the legendary ‘85 Bears, who passed away at 86. Then it’s back to the action.
The Brewers are one win from their first World Series since 1982, while the Dodgers’ three-peat dreams hang by a thread. NFL Week 5 delivered a Bills-Rams overtime classic, an Eagles kickoff they’d love to take back, and a Commanders-Giants tie with clock management so bad it belongs in a coaching textbook under “don’t.” Plus, Georgia grabs No. 1, Oklahoma topples Texas, Max Verstappen finally conquers Singapore, and NBA opening night is almost here.
The second half serves up Week 6 picks from a man who openly advises betting against him. Listen closely, then do the opposite.

9 OCT 2026 · In Week 5 of The Extra Point, The Croz throws the flag on a busy week. CBS finally hands Tony Romo his walking papers, Ohio State’s Jeremiah Smith keeps rewriting the record books on his way to the Heisman, and No. 2 Georgia heads to Tuscaloosa for a heavyweight bout with Alabama.
In the NFL, the Vikings are 4-0 without bothering to score touchdowns. The Jets picked off a pass for the first time in 637 days. The Browns might actually be good. And two officials got suspended in a week with more yellow than a field of daisies.
The long segment goes behind the stripes. How do you become an NFL ref? What does it pay? Why do most of them have day jobs? Plus the most infamous calls ever: the Immaculate Reception, the Tuck Rule, the Fail Mary, and the one and only “giving him the business.”
Baseball’s October party rolls on too. The Rays sweep the Yankees, and the Dodgers and Brewers gear up for a heavyweight NLCS.

2 OCT 2026 · In Week 4 of The Extra Point, twelve of fourteen NFL games came down to one score last Sunday, an all-time record. The Croz breaks down every nail-biter, from Tyler Loop's 56-yard walk-off to a phantom pass interference flag the league itself now admits was wrong. The Bills give it away five times and still win, the Raiders, who won just three games all last season, are suddenly 3-0, and JJ McCarthy lands in New York for the price of a fifth-round pick.
In college football, Texas survives Knoxville, Florida jumps 13 spots, and Congress tries to referee college sports with the Protect College Sports Act.
Then it's baseball's sweep-happy wild card round. The Audubon Fantasy League report returns, and Rex joins for a full slate of picks. Fair warning: The Croz has stopped keeping track of his record. Bet accordingly.

25 SEP 2026 · In Week 3 of The Extra Point, The Croz leads off with baseball's final stretch. The Rays and Brewers are rolling, the AL West is a two-team race between losing records, and Justin Verlander takes one last lap before Cooperstown comes calling.
In college football, Lane Kiffin's return to Oxford ended in heartbreak, and Vanderbilt stole a win from NC State on a finish nobody saw coming. Next up: Texas and Tennessee meet for the first time since the 1969 Cotton Bowl. In the NFL, Week 2 was brutal on quarterbacks. Jaxson Dart, Jayden Daniels and Caleb Williams all went down, and Chicago may be dusting off Case Keenum. The Chargers are 0-2, the Raiders are 2-0, and yes, the Browns actually won a game.
Plus, the Audubon Fantasy League kids return, The Croz admits his fantasy team is a trainwreck, and he tries to bounce back from a 7-9 week with his Week 3 picks.

18 SEP 2026 · Week one of the NFL brought blowouts, a triumphant return for Patrick Mahomes, and one truly disastrous travel plan. The Rams touched down in Melbourne with barely a day to shake off the flight and got run out of the building by the 49ers. The Croz breaks down the fallout, previews a loaded Week 2 slate, and revisits Arch Manning's stunning fourth-quarter takedown of Ohio State. Plus, baseball's playoff race is tightening down the stretch, and the show debuts a brand-new weekly segment featuring the Autobahn Fantasy Football League, breaking down their draft and week one results.

11 SEP 2026 · The Croz kicks things off with the Hall of Fame rewriting seven bylaws that seem built for one man: Bill Belichick. From there it's a Michigan finish that shouldn't have counted, a $350 million question mark hanging over the Dodgers' ownership, and Aaron Judge finally back on the field for a Yankees team that needs him.
Then baseball delivers something that hadn't happened in 149 years, until it happened twice in four days. F1 throws its own curveball as Kimi Antonelli comes from 19th to steal the win at Monza. And once the news segment wraps, The Croz runs the full board: every Week One NFL matchup, the best of college football, and picks against the spread across the entire slate.

8 SEP 2026 · The NFL is finally here, but first The Croz has to process the Clippers getting nuked by the league over a shady Kawhi Leonard deal, Stan Kroenke buying the Angels for a record $4 billion, and Shohei Ohtani possibly hanging up his pitching cleats for the year.
Then it's a full NFC West and East breakdown, from the Rams' Super Bowl favorite status to the Cowboys' historically bad defense, before Wednesday's Seahawks-Patriots Super Bowl rematch officially kicks off the season.

28 AUG 2026 · The Croz opens NFL Week 1 with Deshaun Watson getting booed at home before he's even taken a snap, plus Harrison Butker's monster preseason kick that nearly broke the field goal record.
Then it's on to college football's strangest storyline yet: NFL castoffs cutting deals to play at LSU, and the legal mess behind it. The Croz also breaks down a sobering new CTE study, previews the NFC North and South, and tries to make sense of Cal Raleigh's mysterious power outage in Seattle.

14 AUG 2026 · This week on The Extra Point, Arizona dumps Kyler Murray and Minnesota scoops him up and starts him over a former first-rounder. Even the NFL can't write plots this messy. Jahmyr Gibbs gets paid like a small country, Aaron Donald is out here at 35 trying to un-retire, and the Hall of Fame Game actually delivered.
Meanwhile the Lakers get flipped for $12.5 billion (14 months, one owner, absurd flex), Russell Westbrook finally cuts the engine after 18 wild seasons, and hoops loses a true legend in Don Nelson. Baseball's got its own drama: a legendary Giants voice hangs up the mic, the Cubs are breathing down Milwaukee's neck, and the Red Sox went ice cold overnight.
Plus, The Croz barrels through the AFC North, South and West with Rodgers' farewell tour, Mahomes' comeback, and some spicy predictions nobody asked for.

7 AUG 2026 · Tony Romo's future at CBS is looking shakier than his golf alibi after a DUI arrest sends him to indefinite leave. The Croz talks Tony Romo, plus the NFL money train keeps rolling with Jalen Carter and Bijan Robinson cashing in big, and Hall of Fame weekend brings five new legends to Canton. Then he dives into his 2026 preseason preview, breaking down the Bills, Dolphins, Patriots, Jets, Ravens and Bengals.
On the diamond, Tarik Skubal lands with the runaway-favorite Dodgers, the Red Sox are riding their best 35-game stretch in franchise history, and the Angels remain... the Angels.
