18 NOV 2024 · Like clockwork, the Chicago Bears fall to the Green Bay Packers again. The Bears are supposed to change things but cannot beat their biggest rival.
I guess it is a step in the right direction that the Bears at least covered the spread.
That also hasn't happened in 10 years.
Caleb Williams played well and the defense played just well enough.
It came down to another fourth-quarter drive to put the Bears in position to win.
This time, instead of a Hail Mary, the Chicago Bears made poor decisions and allowed a blocked field goal to seal their fate.
Thomas Brown called a much better game than we have seen from Shane Waldron. Rob and Justin talk about why Matt Eberflus has to be fired and the Chicago Bears, especially Ryan Poles (assuming he also isn't fired), need to get the next coaching hire correct.

The team continues to lose leads late in games and has yet to beat a team over .500 on the road. How will they get over that hurdle in Week 9 vs. the Cardinals?
The Bears are also in a scary situation because of the number of injuries piling up. They are going to be without a large number of important players this week and it will make winning even more challenging.
The matchup against the Cardinals is actually another good one on paper, but as we know, the Chicago Bears always seem to find ways to lose.
Caleb Williams needs to improve upon his Week 8 performance. He played three horrible quarters of football. Hopefully, he will be able to lean on his bruised and battered offensive line.

The defense has been great, the offense is progressing quickly, and the coaching staff is coming together.
The NFC North is the toughest division in football right now, but the Bears are still in the picture at 4-2 through six games.
