4 NOV 2020 · Hi-Poynt Studios is a major part of the sound that has come out of Junction City. I got a chance to speak to DJ D MOE about his role in the musical movement and how he was instrumental in so many artists career.
He personally recorded my 1st project way back in 2006 and it was an honor to be able to complete the circle with this conversation. From DJing, Engineering, Coaching, and everything in between he has managed to stay busy! Make sure you follow D MOE on IG: @dj_dmoe.

4 NOV 2020 · He's one of the Artists that created a path for us to follow and the focus of Book 9 of the Junction City Chronicles: SHOW.
Lyrically he's one of the best to do it and his work ethic and grind only enhance his artistry. We talked about his new project dropping soon, how his move to Denver accellerated his motivation for music and about how the Pandemic has been beneficial for him. 4 NOV 2020 · Book 8 of the Junction City Chronicles focused on Jay Mizz. Mizz has been at it for a minute and learning about his start was an amazing story. I've watched his music evolve over these past few years and finally sitting down and talking to him was a great experience. I had to tell him how he impacted my life through his artistry and we had a very deep conversation about life and music. Make sure you follow him on IG @friendscallmemizz.

4 NOV 2020 · Ha$h is one of those artists that is necessary. When you listen to music you want to be able to relate to the artist and feel their life through your own eyes. He's one of the first cats to put on for the Junk and he's unapologetically authentic. He's the same person now as he was back when we were playing ball on the playground. We talked about how his mentality has translated to his music and how his new project is the best yet. Make sure you follow him on IG @HashGotBars.

4 NOV 2020 · Book 6 of the Junction City Chronicles had to take it full circle. I had a talk with one of the first cats to rock the Town and someone we all looked up to when it was time to touch the mic: O.G. Tec.
Tec has been making a name for himself and his crew in so many different ways. He continues to switch up the hustle but also play to his strengths when it comes to the music game. He parlayed being a Hip-Hop Artist to being a CEO with multiple businesses. We talked about how life has treated him since the last time we saw each other and he was very open with his responses. 4 NOV 2020 · One of the major movers in the Junk is someone I had never had the pleasure of meeting in person. I've heard many good things and have been following along with the work of 8ShotIt and it was a pleasure to talk with him for Book 5 of the Junction City Chronicles.
He's a Producer, Videographer and Hip-Hop Artist that's leading the way for JC to be recognized. He's utilized his skill set to make quality the standard when it comes to the music from my hometown. We talked about his transition from being behind the board and lens to the spotlight and also played some exclusives during this conversation. Make sure you follow him on IG at @8shotit.

4 NOV 2020 · People from my hometown tend to stay connected throughout the years despite of our current location. With that being said my Aunt in D.C. has been trying to link me with one of the artists she came across for a few years now. What's crazy about ToneButta is that he's been to the Junk and performed multiple times before we finally met. At this point he's technically extended family and I had to check in with him for Book 4 of the Junction City Chronicles.
We had an in-depth discussion about the role his Faith plays in his music. The message he preaches in his music is full of symbolism and it's refreshing compared to what you hear these days. Make sure you follow him on IG at @callmetonebutta.

We talked about how his music and hustle has changed through the years and different ways he has adapted to the industry for Book 3 of the Junction City Chronicles. He'll be dropping new music soon so make sure you follow him on IG at @weazalwyzel.

4 NOV 2020 · While I've been speaking with my hometown artists I've been meeting new people along the way. One of the names that's buzzing around JC's music scene is Sleeze The Kingpin and I got a chance to chop it up with him for Book 2 of the Junction City Chronicles.
He has an amazing story to tell and we definitely went into detail about the situation and the circumstances during this conversation. We also talked about how he's been pushing his music and utilizing social media to gain momentum. You can follow Sleeze The Kingpin on IG at @sleeze_the_kingpin.
