16 JAN 2025 · Inching closer and closer to Saturday's highly anticipated kickoff, the Texans have now made it back-to-back seasons to the divisional round now. Never quiet able to make it to the Conference Championship as the organization has zero appearances, OC Bobby Slowik in his small tenure here in Houston has amplified things for this Texans organization and has raised a few eyes in the process. While preparing for their Divisional Round matchup against the Chiefs on Saturday, Slowik is set to interview with the Jets for their HC vacancy today. Prior to what could be the biggest game of his career this weekend a few believe Slowik interviewing mid-week following the intensity of Saturday's game to be a distraction. Sean and Brian take a moment with listeners in discussion of rather or not should Bobby have waited until roughly the conclusion of the postseason to take interviews and could this possibly be a distraction for the Texans rolling into Saturday?

15 JAN 2025 · Looking ahead to Saturday's kickoff the Texans get ready to take on Pat Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs for a second time this season as both teams have now reached the AFC Divisional Round.  Following another highly anticipated game this weekend, many have taken in account the weather factor this weekend. With the expected temperatures to get very low and with wind gusts playing a crucial factor for the players as well on the field, lots of talk has derived that the Texans may not be ready for Saturday's 3:30 kickoff. Noting how some of the teams in the league are stationed in areas that receive heavier inclement weather than others and are use to cold and weatherly conditions, teams that aren't in those destined areas tend to not uphold so well. Sean and Brian pose the question to listeners, could the weather be an issue for the Texans as we inch closer and closer to the Divisional Round kickoff?Â

13 JAN 2025 · Kicking off the postseason with the Wild Card round this Saturday, C.J. Stroud and the Texans took on Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers in a outstanding showdown in which the Texans emerged victors. Following the weekend, the Texans pull out the wild card win with a final score of 32-12 now springing them into the Divisional Round. With games concluding over the weekend the Texans are now set to take on the back-to-back Super Bowl champs, Pat Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. Previously playing the Chiefs not long ago and taking into consideration their offensive struggles this year, many tend to believe the Texans can in fact beat Mahomes and the Chiefs down at Arrowhead Stadium this weekend. Although with the Chiefs looking to be beatable, numerous times throughout the season the officials in the league have came to Kansas City's aid with judgement calls in the final moments of games surprisingly, and constantly making them the victors in the end. Sean and Brian take time and discuss what this game against the Chiefs may look like rolling into Saturday's kickoff and how big a factor the officials may play in Saturday's Divisional Round matchup.
