Things That Go Bump In The Night

  • Miracles & Macabre: Episode 1 Ectoplasmic Terrors

15 JUN 2024 · Join me as I recall a story of a woman who had told me about a ghostly infestation in her home involving ectoplasm. I also discuss the Catholic belief in Ghosts. The biblical basis for the intercession of Saints is that the Mystical Body of Christ is not separated between the living and the dead, and those in Heaven are alive in Christ and await their glorious resurrection. The righteous who are found to be justified in Christ are not in a state of soul sleep or oblivious to the world of the living as St Paul mentions a great cloud of witnesses and Revelation mentions the cries of the marytrys who await justice on their persecutors who are amongst the living. Another example is during the transfiguration of Christ Moses, and Elijah appeared. Moses is deceased, and Elijah, like Enoch, was assumed into heaven and is still alive. Enoch and Elijah are believed to be the two witnesses in the end times. According to dogmatic tradition Mary is considered to have been assumed after her Dormition (death) this is based on historical writings such as the Protovangelium of Saint James, and a reference in Revelation to the woman given wings of an eagle could be considered a reference since the same St John who was given the care of Mary is the author of Revelation. Matthew 22:32, Hebrews 12:1, Revelation 5:8, Revelation 6:10, Matthew 17:1-8, Mark 9:2, Luke 9:28-36, Revelation 12:14. Purgatory and praying for the dead is mentioned in the Bible by St. Paul and in 2nd Maccabees. 1 Corinthians 3:15 and 2nd Maccabees 12:39-48.

  • Paranormal Bible Study: Episode 2 Angels and Demons

12 JUN 2024 · Join me as we go over every kind of Angel and Demon in Scripture and some of the history on Demonology. I was very tired when I recorded this despite drinking coffee but the Marian hymn sung at Divine Liturgy I was trying to remember goes like this "It is truly meet to bless you, O Theotokos, ever-blessed and most pure, and the Mother of our God. More honorable than the Cherubim, and more glorious beyond compare than the Seraphim, without defilement you gave birth to God the Word. True Theotokos we magnify you!" Also, I was trying to make a point that I don't think I executed clearly, but the gist of it is that people rehash ideas or ideologies besides the occult practices I mentioned including historical misinformation and heresy. The deeper truth is Jesus Christ, and just because other religions have similar motifs does not mean Christianity is a rehash of ancient mythologies because some symbols like a mother holding a child are universal and while there might be similarities they're not exact duplicates. The Devil will always cheaply imitate God's truth to deceive and scandalize humanity. • Paranormal Bible Study: Episode 1 Was The Garden of Eden Temporally Displaced?

25 MAY 2024 · Join me on this unusual bible study about the creation of earth, the first humans, and the Nephilim. This bible study uses the Douay Rheims Version Bible translation, so some of the names and pronunciations are different, such as Noe instead of Noah or Elias instead of Elijah.
