14 NOV 2024 · Description:  We like to be rewarded based on the quality of our work. In the kingdom of God, kingdom workers are rewarded, but not according to their work. The drive to work for the kingdom is not based on a desire to be greater than others; rather, kingdom workers are motivated by God's generosity.
Scripture to be read:Â Matthew 20:1-16
14 NOV 2024 · Description:  The kingdom of God changes how we interact with others, even those who have wronged us. 8 OCT 2024 · Description:  Not everyone is able to understand the kingdom of God, for that understanding must be granted to us. We cannot understand the kingdom on our own! The Lord must heal our hearts and grant understanding of his kingdom, so unless there is a change of heart... we cannot understand the implications and meaning of the kingdom of God.
Scripture to be read:Â Matthew 13:10-17
18 SEP 2024 · Human hearts are not naturally receptive to God's word and authority. The human heart, in our fallenness, is hostile to the word of God... preventing the life that the word brings. Our first lesson is this: That the heart must be cultivated in such a way that it is able to receive the Kingdom of God.
Scripture to be read:Â Matthew 13:1-9, 18-23
