With almost 20 years of experience working with the latest technologies including Cloud, NoSQL and Hadoop, he has trained countless professionals in their use. He currently maintains the Kubernetes Administration and OpenStack Administration courses among others. In addition to The Linux Foundation, Tim is a certified trainer for Red Hat, Couchbase, MapR, Oracle University, and other startups.

5 MAR 2019 · Amy Rich has been an Ops person for over 25 years at a variety of companies, helped ship Firefox to hundreds of millions of users, owned her own consulting business, helped organize multiple conferences for USENIX, and written professionally on the topic of UNIX systems administration.
In her head, she frames what she loves about her job as "bringing order from chaos."Â Amy values being able to use her technical and professional skills to make a positive difference in the world.
These days her job title reads "Director of Engineering" at Nuna, Inc. and a member of the Board of Directors of the USENIX Association. In her spare time she’s a board/card game addict, Star Wars LEGO nerd, horrible guitar player, fan of music, books, and movies, and enjoy taking pictures of the places traveled.

Derrick is also an adjunct professor of information technology at South University. He is a graduate of the University of Tampa with a BS in Management Information Systems, a Masters in Information Systems from the University of Phoenix and a JD in law from Stetson College of Law. Derrick also various technical certifications such as Network+, iNet+, Security+, Cloud+, CISSP, GMOB, CIPT and CIPP/US certification.

In addition to providing leadership to DID’s staff and key stakeholders, Darlene oversees all community partnerships and events for the organization. She is part of the leadership team behind some of DID’s signature programs and events including the recently launched BIG Innovation Center and BIG Incubator program - the first and only space and tech accelerator program dedicated to the training and support of Black and Latina women founders of high-growth tech companies.
Darlene has more than 20 years of experience managing large-scale projects for brands such as Disney, eBay, BlogHer, Conde Nast, Time Inc., and the International Downtown Association. Prior to DID, Darlene was the founder Gillard Jones Agency, a public relations and event planning firm offering a full range of services devoted to image development, increased brand awareness and effective marketing and has held senior leadership positions at several national media outlets for women including Women’s Wear Daily, W, Essence, and Elle Magazine.

Nigel Kersten, Chief Technical Strategist, was responsible for the development of the initial versions of Puppet Enterprise and has since served in a variety of roles, including head of product, CTO, and CIO. He has been deeply involved in Puppet's DevOps initiatives, and regularly speaks around the world about the adoption of DevOps in the enterprise and IT organizational transformation.
Deepak Giridharagopal, CTO & Chief Architect, guides Puppet's technical development. He has played an integral role in every version of Puppet and Puppet Enterprise shipped since joining Puppet in 2011. Over the years, Deepak has overseen development of major versions of core projects, including the Puppet language, Facter, PuppetDB, Puppet Server, and major features such as application orchestration. Deepak's work has helped Puppet achieve the massive increases in performance and scale that Puppet users depend on.
