Story Transcript:
Cy: Mewn haf cynnes, pan oedd yr haul yn wenu ar erddi hardd Cymru, roedd Aeron a Carys yn cerdded drwy Erddi Botanegol Cymru.
En: On a warm summer day, when the sun smiled upon the beautiful gardens of Wales, Aeron and Carys were strolling through the National Botanic Garden of Wales.
Cy: Roedd y lle yn llawn lliwiau byw; blodau o bob math yn amgylchynu'r llwybrau carreg grisialog.
En: The place was brimming with vibrant colors; flowers of all kinds surrounded the gravel paths.
Cy: Roedd y dail yn rustlo yn y gwynt ysgafn, a'r awyr yn arogli'n flodeuog.
En: The leaves rustled in the gentle breeze, and the air smelled floral.
Cy: "Rhaid i mi ddod o hyd i anrheg arbennig i Eira," meddai Aeron gan edrych o gwmpas y siop yn yr ardd.
En: "I need to find a special gift for Eira," Aeron said, looking around the garden shop.
Cy: Roedd Eira wedi rhoi ambell syniad bach i Aeron am yr hyn yr hoffai hi, ond nid oedd Aeron yn siŵr beth i ddewis.
En: Eira had given Aeron a few subtle hints about what she might like, but Aeron was unsure about what to choose.
Cy: Roedd y siop yn llawn o lysiau anarferol a thlysau gardd, ond roedd hynny'n gwneud y dewis hyd yn oed yn fwy anodd iddo.
En: The shop was filled with unusual plants and garden ornaments, which made the decision even more difficult for him.
Cy: "Beth am ofyn am help?" Awgrymodd Carys, wrth iddi archwilio silff o blant prin.
En: "Why not ask for help?" suggested Carys as she examined a shelf of rare plants.
Cy: "Mae ebilladen fel hyn yn bendant yn unigryw. Hoffai Eira flodau," ychwanegodd hi yn brysur.
En: "An epiphytic plant like this is definitely unique. Eira would love flowers," she added busily.
Cy: Roedd Aeron yn gwybod fod Eira yn casáu dim byd cyffredin.
En: Aeron knew that Eira loathed anything ordinary.
Cy: Roedd hi'n ffan mawr o blanhigion, yn enwedig rhai anarferol o bell.
En: She was a big fan of plants, especially exotic ones from afar.
Cy: Roedd Eira wedi sôn o'r blaen am sut y byddai'n hoffi tyfu planhigion prin yn ei hardd ei hun.
En: Eira had previously mentioned how she would love to grow rare plants in her own garden.
Cy: Meddyliai am hyn wrth iddo fynd ymlaen i edrych ar yr orchod gwerthfawr a oedd ar y silff.
En: He contemplated this as he moved on to look at the precious orchids on the shelf.
Cy: "Dyma orchyd anhygoel, Aeron. Mae'n ddiogel y bydd Eira wrth ei bodd," meddai Carys, yn gwenu gyda'i llygad yn crwydro o blanhigyn i blanhigyn.
En: "This is an incredible orchid, Aeron. Eira will surely love it," Carys said, smiling as her eyes roamed from plant to plant.
Cy: Roedd hyn yn rhoi hyder i Aeron, ac yn sydyn, gwyddai mai dyma'r yr un i'w brynu.
En: This gave Aeron confidence, and suddenly, he knew this was the one to purchase.
Cy: Gyda chalon fawr, prynodd Aeron yr orchod anhysbys i Eira.
En: With a full heart, Aeron bought the rare orchid for Eira.
Cy: Yn fuan, pan dderbyniodd Eira ei anrheg, roedd ei llygaid yn disgleirio o lawenydd.
En: Soon, when Eira received her gift, her eyes sparkled with joy.
Cy: “Pa mor hyfryd!” meddai hi, wrth sgrialu â llaw ofalgar dros y dail sensitif.
En: "How lovely!" she said, tenderly running a hand over the sensitive leaves.
Cy: "Mae'n unigryw, ac mae'n berffaith."
En: "It's unique, and it's perfect."
Cy: Roedd y cyfarwyddiad a geirwodd gan Carys wedi arwain Aeron at y dewis cywir.
En: The guidance Carys offered had led Aeron to the right choice.
Cy: Yna, nid yn unig roedd Aeron wedi dysgu gwerthfawrogi cyfeillgarwch a chefnogaeth Carys, ond hefyd yn teimlo'n fwy hyderus yn ymddiried yn ei reddfau ei hun wrth ddewis anrhegion.
En: Not only did Aeron learn to appreciate Carys's friendship and support, but he also felt more confident in trusting his own instincts when selecting gifts.
Cy: Roedden nhw i gyd yn gerdded allan o'r gerddi, yn teimlo bod yr haul hefyd yn gwenu arni.
En: They all walked out of the gardens, feeling as if the sun was shining on them, too.
