Cs: Je teplý letní večer.
En: It is a warm summer evening.

Cs: Pláže zalévají měsíční paprsky jako stříbrné proudy.
En: The beaches are bathed in moonlight like silver streams.

Cs: Festival na pláži je v plném proudu.
En: The beach festival is in full swing.

Cs: Světla lampiónů, vůně jídla a radostné zvuky hudby naplňují vzduch.
En: Lanterns' lights, the scent of food, and joyful sounds of music fill the air.

Cs: Václav drží svou partnerku za ruku.
En: Václav holds his partner's hand.

Cs: Má velký plán.
En: He has a big plan.

Cs: Václav si dlouho přemýšlel, jak a kde by měl navrhnout.
En: Václav has been thinking for a long time about how and where he should propose.

Cs: Dohodli se, že stráví večer na festivalu.
En: They agreed to spend the evening at the festival.

Cs: On však měl tajný plán.
En: However, he had a secret plan.

Cs: V kapse měl krabičku s prstenem.
En: He had a box with a ring in his pocket.

Cs: Chvíli pozorují tanečníky, ochutnávají místní specialitu.
En: They watch the dancers for a while and taste the local specialty.

Cs: Václav je ale trochu nervózní.
En: But Václav is a bit nervous.

Cs: V ten moment přišel nápad.
En: At that moment, an idea comes to him.

Cs: Když se jejich kamarádi zaposlouchají do hudby, Václav šeptá: "Pojďme se projít."
En: When their friends are engrossed in the music, Václav whispers, "Let's go for a walk."

Cs: Uchopí její ruku a vede ji podél pláže.
En: He takes her hand and leads her along the beach.

Cs: Dále a dál, až se vyhnou davu.

Cs: Najdou tiché místo, kde slyší jen šumění moře.

Cs: "Procházejme se tady," navrhuje Václav a jeho partnerka souhlasí.
En: "Let's take a walk here," suggests Václav and his partner agrees.

Cs: Sedí si na pískové duně a sledují měsíční světlo, jak se odráží vodou.
En: They sit on a sandy dune and watch the moonlight reflecting off the water.

Cs: Teď je ten okamžik, pomyslí si Václav.
En: Now is the moment, Václav thinks.

Cs: Heartbeat zrychluje.
En: His heartbeat quickens.

Cs: Pokleká.
En: He kneels down.

Cs: Otevírá krabičku a v ten okamžik se obloha rozjasní ohňostrojem.
En: He opens the box and at that moment the sky brightens with fireworks.

Cs: Osvětluje jejich tváře barvami.

Cs: Václav ještě víc nervózní, ale partnerka se usmívá.
En: Václav gets even more nervous, but his partner smiles.

Cs: "Vezmeš si mě?"
En: "Will you marry me?"

Cs: zeptá se s třesoucím hlasem.
En: he asks with a trembling voice.

Cs: Ale její oči září štěstím.
En: But her eyes shine with happiness.

Cs: "Ano!"
En: "Yes!"

Cs: odpovídá s radostí.
En: she answers with joy.

Cs: Tisknou se k sobě, zatímco ohňostroje pokračují ve svém představení.
En: They embrace each other while the fireworks continue their display.

Cs: Náhlý blesk přidává magii.
En: A sudden flash adds magic.

Cs: Celý festival tu a teď křičí z plných plic, jen oni dva ve svém vlastním světě.
