Brian speaks with Anastasia Matvieieva. Anastasia, PhD in law, is a Ukrainian refugee and talks about her experience since the Russian invasion and life in Ukraine today. She is senior researcher, associate professor of the Law department at the Zhukovsky National Aerospace University. She also works part-time as an associate professor at the Semen Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics. “All my plans and my whole life changed radically on February 24, 2022, when Ukraine was attacked by Russia. And instead of the usual life, I had to get together quickly, pick up my child and my friend's children, and leave".
